Role Duties
* Assisting the Data Product Director with the daily operations of an expanding data function while contributing to the broader strategy of a key growth area.
* Establish Data Management and governance programs and drive data ownership throughout the business.
* Develop, lead and implement plans that will roll out the Data Management and Governance Programme within e.surv.
* Perform gap analysis to determine initiatives and build out road maps to address identified gaps.
* Leading a multi discipline team encompassing management information, test and business intelligence exceptional organisational and people skills are essential.
* Ensure efficient and timely delivery of programmes.
* Ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
* Identify and co-ordinate required resources for program execution and delivery.
* Responsible for management of third-party contracts
* Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to ensure alignment between data governance and enterprise data architecture.
* Utilize your software development skills to build or integrate data governance tools and automate processes.

* Previous experience in a similar role building an organisations data capability, governance structures and data frameworks.

Accountable for Cyber security, you will identify and ensure the security of the council’s IT Applications and Digital Solutions. You will lead in evaluating new and existing projects, software and hardware products, and vendors, including examining vendor contracts and terms of service. You will support teams across the council to develop their understanding of security cyber risks. You will manage a small team of two Senior Network and Security Engineers
You will take the lead on cyber security and network for the Shared IT service, which supports over 1,000 users across Stevenage Borough Council and East Herts District Council and will put in place controls over security systems, such as firewalls, data protection controls, patching, encryption, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
You will be responsible for achieving compliance with Cyber Essentials Plus, Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and Public Sector Network (PSN) and related government frameworks, including those of the National Cyber Security Centre, the Information Commissioners Office (ICO)

You will be leveraging your excellent people skills to create an environment in which our SAP Consultants enjoy their work and deliver great results, and use your experience to ensure that the business makes appropriate decisions in implementing change. You will also be responsible for Analysis of the project requirements, definition of the deliverables and contribution to the definition of the business case and of the financial modelling. Ensuring that project governance is followed and accurate reporting and data is delivered to the stakeholders Identification, procurement and management of the appropriate contracts and resources, including cross-functional, third-parties and divisional resources. Implementation of a consistent programme / portfolio management methodology ensuring that the project teams conform to appropriate governance. Implementation of structured development and performance management programmes for the team including objective setting, regular reviews, feedback and training. In addition to having successfully operated as a Programme manager for several years, you will have strong product and application knowledge across the SAP Portfolio with a Functional background (Finance, Procurement or Manufacturing) You will be both extremely client focused with an ability to guide a business through complex change and have proven C-Suite relationship management skills negotiating at high levels You will have Greenfield S/4 Hana experience and ideally have worked with the Public Sector.
