Samuel Frank Associates is now recruiting for a key client in West Yorkshire. We have been instructed to find a Controls Engineer for an award winning software and system integration business.
The successful hire will have a strong industrial controls background with expertise in automation and SCADA products, particularly: Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens S7 PLCs. Knowledge of Cimplicity or FactoryTalkView will be useful also. Candidates will also have some experience of SQL and ideally some high level programming experience in languages such as C#.NET, (url removed), HTML, CSS or JavaScript.
The successful hire will ideally have worked in a manufacturing environment before. Projects could be delivered across a range of sectors including FMCG, pharmaceutical, food & beverage. More experienced Control Engineers with knowledge of MES, OEM and batch processing will be considered favourably.
The client is open to taking someone on with a couple of years experience right up to a seasoned professional (note the suggested salary range)
Experience in delivery of Automation and SCADA solutions in different clients and types of industries is expected for the higher salary level applicants as well as demonstrable client facing skills with the ability to work with clients in challenging environments whilst maintaining a strong financial position.
The client is a growing, stable and professional systems integrator. They're based in a great location with fantastic office space. The role will naturally involve the odd visit to customer site so the successful candidate will need to be accommodating of a small amount of UK travel. The client operate a flexitime system and this position also qualifies for overtime on top of the basic salary.
