The role You'll be responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing management of complex network and infrastructure solutions across the business. Key responsibilities include: Designing and maintaining enterprise level network architecture including LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN Ensuring high availability, performance and scalability across network services Troubleshooting and resolving complex network and infrastructure issues Managing and configuring network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers Leading infrastructure upgrades, migrations and improvement projects Implementing secure remote access solutions using VPN, IPsec, SSL/TLS and SSH Managing network security controls including firewall policies, IDS/IPS, encryption and PKI Monitoring network performance, capacity and security, identifying opportunities for optimisation Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning Managing patching, system updates and configuration backups Producing and maintaining technical documentation Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members Supporting incident response and participating in on call support where required What we re looking for You'll be a highly capable infrastructure professional with strong enterprise networking expertise and a proactive approach to problem solving.
