Your new role As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will join our Front End team across a number of projects, taking responsibility for efficient delivery and adherence to our guidelines and standards. You will work closely with the Back End team, product team and test team. You thrive on getting the best out of yourself and mentoring when possible. Yourself, and all the product development team, are home-based and will remain so post-lockdown. As a senior software engineer you will spend a large amount of time cutting code, using all your experience to advance our codebase and bring us fresh ideas. Our tech stack We use React, Typescript and GraphQL in the Front End through to mostly C# in the Back End plus a bit of Node.js, using a loosely coupled service architecture hosted on GCP. We are not without some technical debt and proactively manage a roadmap to reduce it, for example moving to Infrastructure as code. We use CI and CD with GitHub Actions deploying into GCP and Firebase. Our team We are a growing product development team, currently 15 of us. We're serious about tech, but we don't take ourselves too seriously, we are fun and informal. We are spiritually agile but do not follow any strict methodology.
