What you'll be doing: Providing server and virtualisation support across multiple projects, ensuring seamless and secure data transfer Leading small technical projects and supporting larger initiatives by managing a small team Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues within IT infrastructure Developing technical documentation, test plans, user guides, and system integration reports Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their development Managing tasks independently, with increasing complexity over time Supporting the deployment and maintenance of backup solutions such as Veeam Ensuring security principles are embedded within all infrastructure activities What you'll bring: Hands-on experience as a 3rd line infrastructure engineer, with strong knowledge of servers and virtualisation Broad understanding of networking and IT concepts, with a focus on security principles Proficiency with VMware, Windows Server, backup solutions, and documentation tools Ability to work effectively within a team and manage your own workload A first degree in Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience Eligibility for SC clearance, with willingness to undergo vetting This role offers hybrid working arrangements and may require travel to other sites.
