We are currently recruiting for a Test Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team in Uxbridge. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience in planning, estimating, scripting and executing testing of system changes for Pepper's internally developed mortgage servicing software. You will be working within an established team where you will receive ample support and training to be successful in your role. The Main Responsibilities will include: Creating, reviewing and supporting the creation of Test Plans based on information from various document types, of sufficiently high quality to be shared externally with clients and other key stakeholders Developing knowledge of the internal mortgage servicing systems in order to identify the impact of change on the systems by liaising with Business Analysts, Developers and End Users Writing Test Scripts using well defined testing techniques, ensuring prerequisites, steps and expected results are clearly defined Confirming changes by running Test Scripts, giving comprehensive status of test execution, defects and raising risks in daily and weekly meetings Raising defects and using technical knowledge and experience to provide relevant information to support Developers to fix bugs. You must have excellent skills in writing Test Scripts using well defined testing techniques, ensuring prerequisites, steps and expected results are clearly defined and with the ability to raise defects and use technical knowledge and experience to provide relevant information to support Developers to fix bugs. Desirable Skills Additionally, it would be desirable if you're able to: Support the business whilst they are performing User Acceptance Testing, including environment support, investigating and overcoming issues, and raising defects. Provide evidence of completed testing through robust Test Closure Documentation. Identify ways to improve Test process, ensuring benefits and plans to implement any change are shared and reviewed by management and peers.
