Silicon Infrastructure Engineer
Fractile
Fractile builds silicon, systems, and software to break through the memory wall, the fundamental hardware constraint standing between today's AI and what comes next. The frontier of AI is no longer a research problem. The tasks AI can complete are doubling in complexity every six to seven months and the tokens required to complete them are scaling with it. Sequential reasoning, the kind that can't be parallelised away, means the internal clock speed of inference systems is the critical constraint. What stands between where we are today and the future potential of AI isn't smarter algorithms; it's the hardware to run them fast enough to matter. Today's chips are hitting their wall. We're rebuilding the ones that don't. Fractile is seeking to increase the clock speed of global progress, one chip at a time. Key Responsibilities Create and support tooling and workflows centred around EDA tooling, which will require coding and build-system knowledge to assist with tasks faced by different teams. Add build system support for new EDA tools required throughout the chip lifecycle. Create and improve developer tools across frontend and backend silicon teams. Improve existing workflows to make them cacheable and reproducible. Deploy, and maintain compute infrastructure (in either the cloud or on-premise) using an infrastructure-as-code (IaC) framework (Ansible/Terraform). Setup and monitor observation tooling for resource utilisation, machine failures, and more (e.g. Prometheus/Zabbix). Work with the engineering team to build and optimise their workloads. It would be great if you have Experience with EDA tooling. Experience working with build systems such as Bazel. Experience working with workload management tools such as Slurm. Experience working with container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience working with infrastructure as code such as Ansible or Terraform. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in modern software development language(s) and infrastructure-as-code frameworks. Past experience diagnosing and resolving network/storage/CPU/RAM bottlenecks across complex workloads. Experience deploying and managing a grid compute system (Slurm/LSF/SGE). Proficiency with containerisation frameworks (Docker/Singularity). About Us Founded 2022, we're 100+ people across London and Bristol in the heart of the UK's frontier AI ecosystem, and growing fast. We've recently raised $220 M from Accel, Founders Fund, FactorialFunds and a number of the world's leading deep tech investors. Our team brings deep experience from Arm, Google DeepMind, Apple Silicon, Qualcomm, and others, who've shipped silicon and scaled systems at the frontier before. We're a culture built on deep curiosity, technical fluency, and humility, looking for the kind of entrepreneurial instinct that finds the motivating rather than the daunting. We offer competitive salaries, meaningful equity, and benefits such as private healthcare and pension plans. We believe the hardest problems get solved by the broadest range of minds and actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups in hardware and software engineering. Hybrid working: 2-3 days in our London and Bristol offices. Export Controls Our work involves technologies subject to UK and international export control regulations. Certain roles may require additional eligibility checks to ensure compliance with applicable law. We'll be transparent about this throughout the hiring process.

Senior Product Security Engineer
9fin Limited
About 9fin 9fin is the AI platform powering global debt markets - the world's largest asset class at over $145 trillion. Debt markets are vast, global, and mission-critical, yet still run on fragmented data, PDFs, and manual workflows. 9fin replaces this broken infrastructure with a single platform that centralises proprietary credit data, deep analysis, and high-value workflows across global markets. Today, 9fin powers teams at 300+ blue-chip institutions worldwide, including global banks, asset managers, private equity firms, law firms, and advisors. The business is scaling at exceptional speed, with rapid expansion in the US and best-in-class retention driven by deep workflow adoption. We're at a defining inflection point. With proven product-market fit and strong, global market pull, 9fin is accelerating toward becoming the category-defining platform for debt markets worldwide. The Opportunity We're looking for a Senior Product Security Engineer to join one of our software engineering teams and help shape the security of our products as we continue to scale. This role will be embedded within a team responsible for some of the most security critical parts of the 9fin platform. The team works on the systems and controls that protect sensitive customer information, ensuring data is stored, accessed and processed securely throughout its lifecycle. You'll work alongside product engineers day to day, participating in planning, design discussions, refinement sessions and technical decision making. You'll help the team make sound architectural decisions about how sensitive information is stored, processed and accessed, balancing security requirements with product and engineering goals. The team operates at the intersection of application security, cloud security, data protection and AI security. You'll help shape how 9fin approaches challenges such as tenant isolation, access control, confidential data handling and the secure use of AI systems. While embedded within product engineering, you'll remain closely connected to our Platform Engineering and Information Security teams, helping drive a consistent approach to security across 9fin. This is a hands on engineering role. You won't be building product features full time, but you should be comfortable reading, reviewing and writing production code when security requirements demand it. What you'll work on Embed within a product engineering team and help shape the security of our products from design through to production. Influence architecture, design and implementation decisions to ensure security is considered from the outset. Partner with Product Engineering, Platform Engineering and Information Security teams to identify risks, define appropriate controls, and build secure by default systems. Contribute code, reviews and technical guidance where security expertise is required. Act as a security advocate and trusted advisor within the team, helping balance risk, usability and delivery. What we're looking for Significant experience securing modern software systems and applications. Strong understanding of secure software architecture, threat modelling and security engineering practices. Deep familiarity with cloud native architectures and security controls, particularly within AWS. Experience designing systems that handle sensitive, confidential or regulated data. Comfortable reading, reviewing and writing production code, ideally with experience in Python or similar backend technologies. Familiar with the security considerations of modern data stores such as PostgreSQL. Pragmatic judgement and the ability to balance security, product and engineering needs. Ability to influence engineers and stakeholders across multiple teams without relying on formal authority. Familiarisation with SOC2 and ISO 42001 is a bonus. What success looks like Security considerations are embedded into product design discussions rather than introduced late in the delivery process. Teams can move quickly because secure patterns, architectural guidance and security controls are well understood. Risks are identified and addressed before they become incidents. Security is seen as an enabler of product delivery rather than a gatekeeper. Why this role matters Security cannot be something that happens after software has been designed. As 9fin continues to expand its platform and handle increasingly sensitive customer information, we need security expertise embedded where decisions are being made. This role will help ensure that security is considered from the earliest stages of product development, allowing us to move quickly while maintaining the trust our customers place in us. Benefits We're a scaling start up and we enjoy sharing our success, when the company succeeds, we always reinvest that in our people. We also offer huge amounts of responsibility, an abundance of opportunity for growth and a platform to truly excel. Financial & Insurance Competitive Salary (our salary bands are benchmarked at the top end of the market) Equity options Pension (your minimum contributions are 4% with 9fin matching up to 7%) Private Medical Insurance Paid sick leave with Income Protection for long periods of illness Group Life Assurance Season Ticket Loan & Cycle to Work schemes Time off 25 holiday days per year Local public holidays (with the ability to exchange them for alternative days) Hybrid working model, to allow you the flexibility to decide how, where and when you do your best work Work abroad for up to 3 months a year 1 month paid sabbatical after 5 years of service Enhanced parental leave & flexible working arrangements available Training & Culture Professional learning and development budget Quarterly team socials Summer and Winter company social events 9fin is an equal opportunities employer At 9fin we are dedicated to building and promoting a fair and inclusive workplace where everyone can reach their full potential and truly belong. We recognize that building diverse teams enables a more creative and productive environment. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't perfectly align with the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might just be who we're looking for - either for this role, or perhaps another.

MultiVerse
Senior Software Engineer (Trusted Enterprise Platform)
MultiVerse
The Role We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Trusted Enterprise Platform team and build the systems that keep Multiverse secure, compliant, and architecturally sound as we scale. You will build and maintain the foundational services that every product team depends on but few users ever see: authentication and single sign-on, safe release infrastructure, notification delivery, universal preference management, and the technical surface area where regulatory obligations like GDPR become working code. Your work will be the reason other engineers can ship with confidence and customers can trust us with their data. We are looking for a full-stack engineer who leans towards the backend and finds satisfaction in providing leverage. You are the kind of person who enjoys building a platform capability leveraged by ten teams, but serving thousands. You care about getting the abstractions right, because you know that a poorly designed auth flow or a leaky preference centre creates problems that compound across the entire organisation. The Challenge: Your First 6 Months Months 1 to 2: Learn the platform landscape, understand our auth and identity systems end to end, and ship your first meaningful contribution to one of the core services. Months 3 to 4: Take ownership of a workstream, whether that is improving SSO integration, building out safe release infrastructure, or advancing the preference centre. Start influencing architectural decisions. Months 5 to 6: You are a trusted owner of one or more platform domains. You are shaping the roadmap, mentoring teammates, and your work is visibly reducing friction and risk for product teams across the organisation. Your Impact As a Senior SWE, you are a force multiplier whose influence extends beyond your immediate tasks. Technical Excellence: You will produce clean, extensible code that serves as a best-practice example for the squad, possessing a strong understanding of non-functional requirements like security and scalability. System Ownership: You won't just launch bugs-free code; you will ensure proactive monitoring is in place, defining new technical metrics to guarantee the health of Multiverse's systems. Strategic Execution: You will advocate for incremental delivery, taking a fail-fast approach to complex problems and helping the squad manage technical debt effectively. Mentorship & Uplift: You will actively mentor more junior members, conducting thoughtful code reviews and producing documentation that helps others ramp up quickly. Cross-Functional Influence: You will engage stakeholders directly to understand their problems, building strong relationships to achieve business objectives across several squads. How We Work With AI At Multiverse, AI is our engine, not an add-on. We want every engineer to use AI tooling as a core part of how they work, not as an experiment or a side interest. That means using AI-assisted development tools daily to write, review, and debug code faster. It means reaching for an LLM before reaching for Stack Overflow. It means being willing to prototype internal automations that save the team hours, not just yourself. You should be genuinely curious about how AI is reshaping software development, comfortable adopting new tools as they emerge, and excited about the idea that infrastructure and platform work will look meaningfully different in two years than it does today. Operating Principles in Action Solve for Customer Value: You prioritize the balance between high security and user friction. You design identity flows that protect our customers without slowing them down. Drivers, Not Passengers: You don't wait for a legal "requirement" to fix a privacy flaw. You lead the solution, ensuring compliance is an architectural feature, not an afterthought. Be Decisive, Even in Ambiguity: You are comfortable launching "imperfect" platform tools to get internal feedback early, course-correcting quickly based on how other engineers use your APIs. AI to Deliver Outcomes: You treat AI as our engine. You look for opportunities to integrate LLMs or AI-augmented tooling into our developer workflows to accelerate our platform's maturity. Your Requirements What We Are Looking For Technical Foundation Backend Center of Gravity: 5+ years of experience with a focus on data models, APIs, and system boundaries. Cloud-Native Instincts: Deep comfort with AWS, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS), and Infrastructure-as-Code. Clean Code: A track record of writing modular, tested, and readable code in TypeScript, Python, or Elixir. Technical Leadership & Mindset Product Mindset for Platforms: You treat internal engineers as your users, caring deeply about developer ergonomics and API documentation. Identity Experts: Hands-on experience building or significantly contributing to auth and identity systems in a B2B org (SSO, SAML, OAuth). Release Architects: You understand the difference between deployment and release and have managed enterprise release cycles at scale. What Would Set You Apart Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS). A history of extracting shared services from monolithic codebases. Benefits Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 5 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days, 2 company-wide wellbeing days (M-Powered Weekend) and 8 bank holidays per year Health & Wellness- private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, gym membership & wellness resources through Wellhub and access to Spill - all in one mental health support Hybrid work offering - for most roles we collaborate in the office three days per week with the exception of Coaches and Instructors who collaborate in the office once a month Work-from-anywhere scheme - you'll have the opportunity to work from anywhere, up to 10 days per year Space to connect: Beyond the desk, we make time for weekly catch-ups, seasonal celebrations, and have a kitchen that's always stocked! Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion We're an equal opportunities employer. And proud of it. Every applicant and employee is afforded the same opportunities regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. This will never change. Read our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion policy here. Our Commitment to Safeguarding Multiverse is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners. We expect all employees to share this commitment and adhere to our Safeguarding Policy, our Prevent Policy and all other Multiverse company policies. Successful applicants will be required to undertake at least a Basic check via the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS). For roles that will involve a Regulated Activity, successful applicants must also undergo an Enhanced DBS check, including a Children's Barred List check and a Prohibition Order check. Roles involving Regulated Activity may interact with vulnerable groups, therefore are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 meaning applicants are required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands, and final warnings. Providing false information is an offence and could result in the application being rejected or summary dismissal if the applicant has been selected, and possible referral to the police and the DBS.

Broughton Group
Full Stack Engineer. Job in London Move Collective Jobs
Broughton Group
Senior Product Engineer London Hybrid Startup 90,000 - 130,000 + meaningful equity Tech stack: Experience required across any of the following: Golang Rust TypeScript, Node.js React.js, Next.js AWS or GCP Most B2B SaaS products are effectively dashboards on top of a database. This isn't that. We're working with an Agentic AI startup building infrastructure and intelligent software systems that sit underneath large scale operational workflows and real time decision making processes. The platform processes very high volumes of live data, powers complex orchestration pipelines, and delivers AI driven functionality directly into customer environments at enterprise scale. The engineering challenges are genuinely difficult. Not "we use Kubernetes so we're scaling" difficult. More the kind of problems involving distributed systems, real time data ingestion, AI orchestration pipelines, and building software that customers rely on day to day inside production environments. The team is still small enough that every engineer materially changes the trajectory of the business. No giant hierarchy, no endless roadmap theatre, no Jira archaeology expedition trying to work out why a ticket exists. That means speaking to customers, understanding commercial context, shaping product direction, building systems, shipping to production, monitoring outcomes, and iterating quickly. You'll be working across: Real time event streaming systems handling very high traffic volumes AI powered workflows and orchestration pipelines Product engineering across backend infrastructure and frontend applications CRM and third party integration infrastructure Identity resolution and large scale data processing Systems where reliability and speed both matter because customers actively use what gets shipped The environment is best suited to engineers who: Enjoy ambiguity rather than waiting for perfect specs Think commercially as well as technically Want ownership rather than ticket queues Care about shipping quickly Like being close to founders, customers, and product decisions Have worked in strong start ups or fast moving product environments before Technical background matters, but mindset matters more. They're open to strong engineers from different backend ecosystems if you've built complex systems and can learn quickly. A few things worth knowing: High frequency of deployments per week Engineers use AI tooling heavily to improve speed and workflow efficiency Minimal meeting culture High trust environment with lots of autonomy Strong engineering standards without unnecessary process theatre Small team, meaningful ownership, direct impact If you're the type of engineer who likes solving hard problems with smart people, has energy & ambition, and actually seeing your work used in production by real customers, this is a very good opportunity.

We move quickly where it matters and stay grounded in what's proven, shaping healthcare's next era. Ready for the challenge? The Role Working closely with the Product Lead, you will be a Mid-level or Senior Fullstack Engineer who operates at the intersection of core product development and clinical application. This role requires formal medical training and real clinical experience. Your clinical background will directly inform how we design, evaluate, and ship AI features that support real-world care delivery. Experience working on clinical AI products is highly valued, as you'll be shaping systems that must perform safely in production environments. What you'll do: Build end-to-end AI features: Architect and ship fullstack solutions (from React frontends to Python backend services) that leverage our voice AI and LLMs to automate clinical workflows. Operationalize Voice AI: Implement and fine-tune audio processing pipelines, ensuring our Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and LLM agents perform accurately in diverse, real-world medical environments. Bridge the gap between model and product: Translate complex feedback from clinicians into technical solutions, rapidly prototyping and deploying improvements to model behavior, prompting strategies, and audio handling. Optimise for real-time interaction: Tune fullstack performance to handle real-time audio streaming and token generation, minimizing latency so clinicians have a seamless conversational experience. Partner with implementation and clinical teams: Shorten the feedback loop by shipping critical integrations and feature requests from concept to production in days, not quarters. What we will look for: Mastery of Fullstack fundamentals: You are equally proficient in Python and modern frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript), capable of owning a feature from the database schema to the UI interaction. Applied AI & Voice fluency: You have a working knowledge of LLM integration (RAG, prompt engineering) and audio technologies (ASR, speech processing) and know how to build around their probabilistic nature. Pragmatic problem solving: You balance engineering purity with the need for speed; you know when to build a robust system and when to ship a tactical solution to unblock a customer. Cloud fluency (AWS or GCP): You can spin up your own infrastructure (containers, serverless functions) and manage CI/CD pipelines to get your code into the hands of users independently. Rigorous testing in production: You understand that "works on my machine" isn't enough; you implement observability and feedback loops to monitor how your AI features perform in the wild. Medical degree with clinical experience, and ideally experience working on clinical AI products What do we believe in? Heidi builds for the future of healthcare, not just the next quarter, and our goals are ambitious because the world's health demands it. Solid grounding in event driven architecture, real time data processing, and managing complex database transaction scopes at scale. Experience balancing rapid prototyping and fast iteration with long term sustainability and quality-you have a bias for action and prefer to try and iterate rather than wait for perfect information. Exceptional technical communicator with a proven ability to align globally distributed teams. You are highly skilled at distilling complex concepts into clear, structured RFCs and architectural designs to build consensus. Understand, leverage, and integrate modern AI tools and concepts-including agentic programming patterns and LLM assisted workflows-to accelerate platform engineering and developer velocity. Preferred Skills You have shaped architecture and platform strategy at an enterprise scale, navigating the trade offs of hybrid and cloud agnostic infrastructures. You bring a polyglot mindset, matching the right technology to the challenge rather than defaulting to a single stack (comfortable exploring React, Python, or Go when needed). Genuine curiosity-you're energized by learning new technologies and approaches to solve edge routing and platform enablement challenges. You enjoy mentoring others and raising the bar for engineering culture, without big egos. You're highly comfortable operating in distributed teams, embracing asynchronous collaboration, and driving consensus across distinct domains.
