A private equity firm with investments in the online gaming, fintech as well as online marketing space are currently looking to add a data scientist with experience in data analysis and statistical modelling to the team.

Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to analyse large data sets across multiple industries and businesses and to apply your skills (both technical and behavioural) in order to generate value.

In order to succeed you will have a strong set of "soft" skills in addition to your technical expertise. Your key responsibilities will be to

• Analyse raw and messy data
• Visualise results and generate actionable insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various businesses and industries

Qualifications

• Proven experience in applying data analysis and machine learning to real-world problems
• Understanding of predictive modelling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques
• Fluency in R or Python
• Knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with visualization tools (eg Tableau, Power BI)
