QA Tester

iRecruit Specialist are recruiting for a QA Tester on behalf of an expanding organisation based near to Marlow. This will be joining a fast paced development team and working on a wide range of bespoke digital projects which will range from complex CMS Solutions to landing pages. The team are currently growing so this opportunity can offer the right candidate great career prospects further down the line, to take ownership of QA and future managerial responsibilities. Key Skills: * Excellent testing skills, with experience across multiple platforms and browsers. * Familiarity with issue tracking systems (Redmine, Jira etc.) * Experience of working with development teams to create test plans * Commitment to providing excellent customer service. * Excellent communication skills, written and otherwise. * Ability to adapt to changes in priorities. * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to identify issues and effectively communicate the reproduction steps. * Highly organised, analytical, detail oriented, and able to prioritise competing workloads * Ability to learn new processes quickly * A passion for working with web applications with the intention of improving the user experience Key Tasks: * Expert level of detail when testing a wide range of digital assets which include - emails, banners, landing pages, corporate websites, portals and content management systems * Ability to accurately compare asset specs and technical specs to built products to ensure quality * Perform cross device, cross browser and cross screen resolution testing on digital assets * Accurately document discovered issues for developers to work on * Include reproduction steps to allow developers to easily reproduce the issue and enable other QA testers to verify fixed and develop * Include as much information as possible related to the issue including screenshots or error codes encountered during the testing phase
