Embedded Software Engineer (Windows) // Leeds // up to £55,000

I am currently working alongside a key client in West Yorkshire to support them with the expansion of their Innovation & Development team. I have multiple opportunities for Embedded Software Engineers (Windows CE) to join this exciting project whereby they will be Architecting, Reviewing and Creating design specification for complex software components and systems. As the Embedded Engineer you will be expected to understand the product and its current functionalities, whilst working on new features and functionalities. This role is vital for the upkeep of these current products, and to ensure they are keeping in line with the certified standards. This is an international product that will make an impact on peoples lives and support both independent living and assisted living members of the public. Essential Skills: * 5+ years Embedded Experience (either microcontrollers or embedded products) * Windows Development Experience (either Windows CE or Visual Studio) * C++ / C Development Experience * Experience with design patterns Desirable Skills: * Design Class Diagrams * Web development experience (HTML, JS) * Microcontrollers (Kiel) * Tool Customisation experience (Jenkins) * Unit Testing experience * GIT (or other opensource control tools) Day to Day Duties: * Review of current products functionalities * Work alongside sales marketing and understand what new features they are hoping to achieve on both sales and software side * Bug fixes as routine * They are moving to VSTS * Build team to support them - important that you know how to build a system solution Interviews for these positions will be held ASAP
