Ruby on Rail Software Engineer

Ford & Stanley the Digital Rail Specialists are recruiting for Software engineer with experience of Ruby on Rails for their client based in Cambridge My Client looking for a software engineer to join our growing team and contribute to our ambition to deliver top class connectivity products and solutions to our customers in the transportation market. My Clients solutions are currently installed on tens of thousands of buses, coaches and trains worldwide. I am looking for a developer who is an organised self-starter, and who can prioritise their tasks to deliver high quality results according to demanding timelines. My Clients team works with the full web stack, the heart of which is their customer facing Ruby on Rails and JavaScript web apps. My client also uses both relational and NoSQL databases, and are increasingly using containerisation tools like Docker, and frontend tools like Yarn, Webpack and ES6. Essential Requirements * At least 1 years commercial Ruby on Rail Experience * Knowledge of either JavaScript/HTML/CSS * Self Stater – Happy to work as part of a small team * Driven Desirable Requirements * Experience of Docker * Experience of NOSQL Databases such as MongoDB * Experience working in an Agile Development Environment
