Network Engineer- Small, Friendly Team

Network Engineer required to join a growing Scottish Company based in East Lothian. You will be joining a small and close-knit team where you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, development and support of network infrastructure to a wide range of companies. Candidates will require knowledge in network fundamentals - network routing, switching along with excellent network diagnosis. You will act as a subject matter expert on all networking issues and ensure the optimisation of all enterprise level network services, processes and components. You will get involved in a range of exciting project work from day one in which you will design and implement tailored network solutions to meet customer requests. As well as having technical ability it is important that candidates demonstrate willingness to manage customer service requests. You will be required to provide a range of critical support to a wide range of customers requests and troubleshoot accordingly. Key Skills and Experience: ** Knowledge of routing, switching, security, firewall encryption, network management ** Demonstrable experience of configuring and supporting large scale networks ** Strong knowledge of Routing protocols BGP, OSPF.
