3rd Line Network Engineer

We are currently recruiting a 3rd Network Engineer to join one of our well established clients based in Peterborough. My client is well renowned for their innovated approach and pride themselves on the amount training they are able to provide each of their team members, ensuring you stay and remain current and up to date with latest technologies. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player who is actively seeking to improve and grow their knowledge base and facilitate learning and team work. Main Duties include: · Firewall Management · Incident Diagnostics · Device software upgrades, patches and bug fixes · Rule based and Network Configuration · Change Management · Providing a technical point of escalation and expertise · Maintain technical accreditations - Cisco, Fortigate, HP, Checkpoint, F5, Palo Alto · Proactively maintain and develop knowledge, skills and experience through client contact, industry sources, formalised training and development plans · Recommend and deploy changes via change management process when required · Escalate and work with Vendors when required · Work with consultants to better understand issues and solutions · Provide technical assistance to on-going projects when required Skills and Experience: · Experience in a similar SLA driven support role · Proven customer service skills · Experience delivering projects and complex changes · Experience with one or some of the below technologies: - Fortinet - F5 - Checkpoint - Palo Alto - HP - Citrix NetScaler - Cisco Technologies including switching and routing If you feel you have the skills and experience required and are looking for an opportunity that will allow you to progress both your knowledge and career then apply now as interviews commence shortly.
