Information Security) Project Manager
The objective of the role is to deliver a portfolio of initiatives that are designed to help deliver incremental business-as-usual (BAU) information security improvements that do not fit under specific programme categories.
This Project Manager role is to support the Information Protection and Privacy Strategy, Architecture and Computer Security Incident Response team to help them deliver BAU projects and keep them aligned and informed against the wider set of Programme deliverables.
This role will involve working with a matrix team consisting of programme and business resources, global stakeholder management and taking over PMO responsibilities.
Key responsibilities are:
- Supporting the computer security incident response, strategy and architecture functions with identification and delivery of improvement projects.
- Facilitate project planning and execution, and provide project management and analysis support covering security, strategy, architecture and incident response related projects.
- Produce an integrated project plan and manage milestones and deliverables across the various projects.
- PMO and project management activity including;
- Coordinate appropriate communication, escalation and reporting to ensure alignment and progress across teams and stakeholders.
- Support the production of other governance artefacts and documents required in order to successfully navigate the programme lifecycle wherever programme funding is anticipated or required.
Skills required:
- Experience dealing with stakeholders in procurement, legal and HR.
- A good level of understanding on information security principles (proven experience required)
- Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
- A track record of consistently maintaining workstream and project documents, communications & other reporting.
- Proven delivery of complex global projects across multiple departments with the ability to drive alignment and rapid decision making.
- Excellent team management across different time zones.
- Proven experience in change impact assessment, business readiness and deployment of best practice methods and tools.
- Able to adapt deployment approach in line with business needs.
- Able to hit the ground running and demonstrate a persistent drive to completion.
- Experience of delivering information security projects within complex global environments
