Test Manager - Contract

An industry leading client are looking for an experienced test manager to play an important role in a major project they are working on currently. They arelooking for an experienced test manager to define test processes accordingly and ensure critical systems meet user requirements. You will play an important role in the coordination of end users in this business critical change project. You will be an important point of contact for stakeholders and project managers as to progression on the ground, provide guidance to a non-technical user base. You will also need to be experienced dealing with 3rd party vendors and stakeholders as it is a major aspect of this role. Responsibilities ● Overseeing the Client's QA & Testing team in the successful delivery of test planning, preparation & execution activities ● Assuming accountability for any & all project/release testing (includes integration, business acceptance, performance, etc.) ● Proactively planning, coordinating with and facilitating plans with the Client's internal partners and stakeholders ● Applying risk analysis and methodologies to oversee how testing strategies, plans and project documentation are created ● Assume accountability for managing the creation, review and sign-of of documentation and ensuring these properties are true to the Client's quality and audit requirements ● Actively participating in test case creation and execution to meet the Client's timelines ● Support the team in creating reusable test assets for both manual and automated test scripts Required Skills & Education ● 5-7 years industry relevant experience ● Proven ability to oversee testing teams for smaller/less complex & less diverse functions and projects ● Previous leadership ability growing team expertise to grow with necessary demand & assessing team capabilities ● Excellent problem solving & resolution skills demonstrated through previous leadership/coaching ● Ability to deliver strategies related to operational improvement & optimization of test activities and projects To find out more about Computer Futures please visit (url removed) Computer Futures, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP | Registered office | 1st Floor, 75 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BE, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC387148 England and Wales
