Java Developer (Front End)

Role : Java Web Developer Location : Norwich Salary : £dependant on experience Experienced Java developer needed for successful development team in Norfolk. This position will afford the successful candidate a variety of work in a challenging technical environment. Working as part of a team you will be required to develop and maintain high quality functional front-end software to meet agreed business requirements on time and within budget. My client delivers high quality front-end solutions using the following technologies: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript Responsive Design CSS Preprocessor J Query GruntJS Design patterns and frameworks UX Jira BitBucket Git Agile IntelliJ IDE Responsibilities: You will responsible for the development, testing and implementation of new features, bug fixes and on-going maintenance, all of which should be high quality functional software in line with the businesses expectations. You will be liaising closely with the Business Analyst(s), design and project manager(s) to provide any feedback/changes to the specification of deliverables. You will ensure deployed software meets agreed security requirements and that the client s customer and business data is secure. You will develop using the coding standards defined, to use the agreed tooling and technologies to achieve delivery. Ensure that software is adequately documented and maintainable in the future. Keep yourself updated with the latest developments in software engineering practices and tools, assessing any potential for use within the business. Ensure any PCI breaches are reported to the Data Protection Officer immediately.
