Python/Django Developer - Plymouth - £40k

Greywood are looking for Python/Django developers to join an expanding team based near Plymouth. Working in a clean, crisp environment creating and maintaining web applications using Python and the Django web framework, you will have the opportunity the shape the future direction of market-leading products. A major focus of the role will be ongoing development of the company software, a UK market leader. They are continuously looking for new ways to help users save time, work smarter and deliver better results. You will be a member of the Python/Django team in a fast-growing organisation that employs a range of technologies. You will work with developers, project managers and product owners across a range of new and existing products. You will contribute to a top-class codebase, with automated testing and deployment, supported by a powerful toolchain including Jira and Apache Subversion. This would be an ideal opportunity for a developer with at least 2 years' commercial experience (although all levels considered) using Python to build web applications. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, open-minded and have: * Demonstrable experience of developing web applications with the Django framework * A good understanding of ElasticSearch, Celery, Redis, Gunicorn, PostgreSQL and their roles within a Django web application * A good understanding of HTML/CSS/Javascript and the Django templating system * A practical understanding of Linux system administration in the context of running a web application * A practical understanding of version control, preferably SVN We are now recruiting for all levels of Python/Django Developers from Junior right-up to seasoned pro's who will take charge and use their talents to really make a difference.
