Full Stack Engineer London (Oxford Circus) Hybrid: 2 days per week Reports to: Head of Mobile About We're building something genuinely rare: a financial brand designed for the mass affluent, the professionals, entrepreneurs and ambitious savers that traditional banks have systematically underserved for decades. We exist to make managing wealth simpler, smarter and more human, treating every client's wealth with the same care as if it were our own. We have over £7 billion in client deposits, a fresh funding round and a place on the Future Fifty, the UK's top pre IPO companies. The momentum is real. The Opportunity This is a build role for an engineer who wants to own their work end to end. You will design, develop and ship digital products that directly shape how our clients manage and grow their wealth, working across the full stack from polished front end interfaces to resilient back end services. For the right engineer, this is a rare opportunity: meaningful ownership on a product that matters, at a pre IPO challenger bank, working with modern tooling and an AI first engineering culture that prioritises outcomes over process. What You'll Do Build, deploy and scale high quality, secure and maintainable mobile applications across front end and back end systems, with full ownership of your code from architecture through to production monitoring. Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Data colleagues to define problems, shape hypotheses and ship working solutions at pace. Apply an AI first approach to engineering, using tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot and AI agents to accelerate development, testing and ideation without compromising quality or security. Instrument everything you build, tracking performance, behaviour and conversion to inform data driven decisions on what to build next. Contribute to product strategy by identifying opportunities for technical innovation and automation across our digital experiences. Ensure operational excellence across your work, building for reliability, scalability and compliance in a regulated financial services environment. Help define and evolve engineering standards, architecture patterns and development best practices as the team scales. Champion simplicity in design and implementation, building systems and interfaces that are intuitive, elegant and frictionless for clients. The Challenges You'll Tackle Our clients are discerning and have high expectations. Building experiences that feel genuinely premium, not just functional, requires craft as much as capability. Speed and quality must coexist. Shipping fast in a regulated environment means knowing where to move quickly and where to apply rigour. The full stack is genuinely full. You will be expected to contribute meaningfully across front end, back end and infrastructure, not camp in one layer. AI tooling is evolving fast. The challenge is not to use it for the sake of it, but to build the judgement to know when and how it genuinely improves your output. The Mindset Bias to Action. Make decisions with the information available. Do not wait for perfect conditions. Ship, learn, iterate. Radical Ownership. Accountable for the quality, performance and reliability of what you build, not just the code you commit. Challenge with Intent. Push for better solutions through evidence and technical rigour, even when the easier path is available. Intellectual Humility. Let data and results guide architectural decisions. Adapt when evidence changes, even when it means revisiting previous calls. Low ego, high standards. Confident in technical convictions, collaborative in approach, focused on outcomes. What You Bring Proven full stack engineering experience, delivering production ready applications using React, Node.js and AWS on web and mobile platforms. Hands on experience with iOS or Android native development, or React Native for mobile first product work. Strong working knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, serverless architectures and CI/CD pipelines. Comfortable in TypeScript and JavaScript, with experience in cloud native ecosystems and modern tooling. A track record of using data and experimentation to guide technical and product decisions. Demonstrable experience with AI powered engineering tools, with a considered approach to where they add genuine value. Experience working in agile, product led teams where speed, collaboration and ownership are the norm. Familiarity with UK GDPR data handling obligations and an understanding of what it means to build in a regulated environment. Experience with event driven systems and database technologies such as PostgreSQL or DynamoDB is advantageous. Exposure to financial services, fintech or other regulated environments is a plus but not a requirement. What's in It for You Build products that real clients use at a pre IPO challenger bank with genuine commercial momentum. No legacy constraints, modern tooling, an AI first engineering culture and the autonomy to own your work end to end. Be measured by what you ship and its impact, not by ticket velocity or meeting attendance. Our Values Our values shape how we make decisions, how we treat each other when things get hard, and how we show up for clients who expect more than standard banking. We set ambitious goals and hold ourselves to them, not because it looks good, but because our clients' outcomes depend on it. When something isn't working, we say so early, learn from it, and move. We don't wait for perfect conditions, and we don't protect egos over progress. We work as a genuine team, which means real collaboration, honest conversations when we disagree, and shared accountability when things go wrong. We know better decisions come from different perspectives, so we actively value the range of experiences and backgrounds our people bring. We're always asking whether there's a smarter way to do what we do, not for the sake of change, but because standing still isn't an option in the market we're in. Benefits 28 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays Performance related bonus structure Equity after probation Enhanced pension (9% employer contribution + 1% match when you contribute a minimum of 1%) Private health insurance with family cover Optical and dental cover Online GP service for you and your family Life assurance Flexible hybrid working, including options to work from abroad Enhanced parental leave Equal Opportunities We are an equal opportunities employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

Producing high-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate timing, behaviour and interaction. Contributing to the design system with motion guidelines, reusable patterns and documentation. Working closely with engineers to ensure animations are performant and implemented as intended. What we're looking for: We're interested in people who have experience designing mobile product experiences, not just marketing or brand animation. You'll ideally have: Strong experience in Interaction Design or Motion Design with a significant focus on mobile applications. An outstanding portfolio showcasing motion, transitions, interaction design and micro-interactions. Deep understanding of animation principles including timing, easing, sequencing and visual hierarchy. Experience creating motion systems and reusable interaction patterns. Strong iconography skills with experience designing consistent icon sets. Advanced Figma skills alongside one or more motion tools such as Rive, Lottie, After Effects, Principle or ProtoPie. Experience working with design systems and creating developer-ready specifications. Knowledge of accessibility best practice, including reduced-motion considerations. Experience collaborating closely with engineers throughout implementation. About you: You notice when an animation feels just a little too slow. You know when an easing curve doesn't quite feel right. You care about craft but understand how to ship quickly. You're comfortable working in ambiguity, helping define patterns before they exist. Most importantly, you believe motion isn't decoration-it's a critical part of how great products communicate. Why join us? You'll have the opportunity to shape the interaction language of a brand-new product from the ground up. Rather than maintaining an established design system, you'll help define it. If you're passionate about creating beautifully crafted mobile experiences and want your work to have a visible impact, we'd love to hear from you. *To apply, please include your CV and a portfolio showcasing your interaction and motion design work. Applications without a portfolio are unlikely to be considered.* GSC Manchester TET is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.

Senior Interaction Designer (Motion, Animation, Mobile Product) Location: London Client: Chase UK Working model: Onsite The role: We're seeking a Senior Interaction Designer to join Chase UK, JP Morgan's digital consumer bank, to help define the motion language, interaction patterns and iconography for an exciting new mobile product. This isn't a traditional UI or Product Design role. We're looking for someone who obsesses over the details that elevate a product from functional to exceptional-timing, easing, choreography, micro-interactions and thoughtful motion that helps users understand what's happening at every step. You'll work within a small, collaborative team of Product Designers, Engineers and Product Managers, owning the interaction and motion experience from concept through to production. Everything you create will contribute to a scalable design system and be shipped to users. What you'll be doing: You'll take ownership of the product's interaction and motion system, including: Defining motion principles, behaviours and animation standards across the product. Designing meaningful transitions that guide users naturally through key journeys. Creating loading, processing, confirmation and error state animations that clearly communicate system status. Designing polished micro-interactions including button feedback, selection states, expansion, reordering and navigation. Building a cohesive iconography system covering functional icons, status indicators and supporting illustrations. Producing high-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate timing, behaviour and interaction. Contributing to the design system with motion guidelines, reusable patterns and documentation. About Gigs At Gigs, we're building the operating system for mobile services-a platform that lets tech companies embed global connectivity into their products effortlessly. Just as Stripe lets any business add a payment button in seconds, Gigs empowers platforms to weave in connectivity-bridging the traditional world of telecom with modern tech. From fintechs launching mobile services to HR platforms offering work phone plans, we automate provisioning and remove telecom complexity. Our team of around 150 people across the US and Europe, backed by nearly $100 million in funding from Ribbit Capital, Google, and Y Combinator. As one of the fastest-growing tech companies, bringing together early-stage engineers, product builders, and business athletes from companies like Stripe, Airbnb, and Shopify. We're tackling deep technical and regulatory challenges to make connectivity truly seamless. If you're driven by curiosity, creativity, and the chance to shape the future of telecom, we'd love to hear from you. Things We Care About We are building in a highly complex space and tackling a massive problem. We want people who lean in when things get hard. Speed. We move and we ship. We set bold deadlines and treat every week like it matters. Ownership. If you see something broken, fix it. We don't wait for permission. Customer Obsession. Our customers' product is our product. Ambiguity. We're building frontier technology in a complex domain. You'll need sound judgement and good instincts to make decisions without complete information. First principles. We don't ask how things have been done before. We ask why they were done that way at all. The Role As a Senior Software Engineer on Revenue, you'll own the systems that turn Gigs' business into money in the bank. Gigs is a B2B2C business: consumers get connectivity through our partners' products, and we bill those partners for it. You'll focus on the B2B side - the partner billing system that sits at the center of how Gigs earns revenue. Billing has to be right. You'll build systems that turn usage and commercial agreements into accurate, auditable invoices, and you'll build the checks and observability that keep them trustworthy as we scale. You'll also work well beyond billing itself, building integrations with other backend systems like our ERP and Data Platform so revenue data flows cleanly across the company. This is a cross-functional role. Your closest partners outside engineering are Finance and Go To Market teams, and a big part of the job is translating commercial models and partner deals into working software. You'll join reporting into our Head of Data. The goal is to spin up a dedicated Revenue team - so this is also a chance to help shape a new team and problem area from the ground up. Own our partner billing system end-to-end: the platform that turns usage and commercial terms into accurate, auditable invoices for our partners. Build and maintain integrations with other backend systems, including our ERP and Data Platform, so revenue data is consistent and reliable across Gigs. Work primarily in Go, our main language for backend services, alongside PostgreSQL and event-driven tooling. The foundations have been laid this is about taking the system to the next level Partner closely with Finance and Business Development - sit down with them, understand a commercial model or a new partner deal, and turn it into something that works in production. Design for correctness and observability. You'll build the tests, monitoring, and reconciliation that make revenue numbers something people can rely on. Take complex problems from scoping through to production, and operate what you build.Help shape the foundations, practices, and roadmap of a new Revenue team as it forms. You can find more about how we work on our engineering page. Salary range for Senior Engineer: EU: €90,000 - 125,000 UK: £90,000 - 125,000 (The final offer depends on your background, skills, and how you perform through the process. We're open to considering mid, senior and staff-level candidates, which may result in an adjustment to the scope and compensation) What We Are Looking For You have strong backend engineering experience and are fluent in Go. You've built and run production services, and you care about the quality of the software you produce. Go experience is required for this role. You use AI as a core part of how you work, not an occasional shortcut. That means prompting agents with context and intent, reviewing what they produce critically, and knowing when to push back. You can explain the code an agent wrote, catch when it oversteps the ask, and form your own opinion on whether the output is actually good. You're curious about how the tooling is evolving and actively working to get better at it. You think in systems and care about correctness. You understand that billing and revenue systems have little room for error, and you design for it - with clear data models, good tests, and observability built in. You enjoy working across teams. You can talk to Finance or Business Development, understand what they need, and turn a commercial model into something that runs reliably. You love learning technologies as you go. You always want to find the right tool for the job, and don't only follow what you already know. You care about more than just engineering. You need to see the business impact of everything you do. You know how to make speed/quality trade-offs. Bonus Points If: You've worked on billing, payments, invoicing, metering, or revenue systems before. You have experience integrating with ERP systems or building data pipelines against a data platform / warehouse. You have experience with our stack: Go, PostgreSQL, GCP, Solvimon, PubSub. You've worked in fintech, payments, telecom, or other regulated industries where reliability and correctness matter. Work At Gigs At Gigs, we value in-person collaboration. We believe the best ideas, decisions, and relationships are built when teams spend meaningful time together, and our culture is designed around that belief. We support flexibility where it makes sense. Some focused work can be done remotely, and not every role or week looks the same. You should expect regular time in one of our hubs, as well as occasional travel for team workshops, customer meetings, and Gigs Republic, our bi-annual company off-site. Our offices are designed to feel like home-inspired workspaces, with plants, thoughtful tools, and small, tight-knit teams that make collaboration feel natural, energizing, and effective. What We Offer At Gigs, we believe in rewarding excellence. We offer competitive compensation and stock options because we see you as a true partner in our growth. We also provide stipends for your home office or work setup, a budget for learning and development to fuel your career, and of course, a free phone and international data plan. Address United Kingdom Schedule Full time Job Type Contract freelancer Highlights Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) Strategic instinct to think about platform future, not just current tasks Description Cera is the UK's largest HealthTech company and one of Europe's fastest-growing businesses - harnessing preventative technology and AI to take care out of Britain's hospitals and into patients' homes. Our 10,000 carers and nurses deliver around 2.5 million patient home visits a month - a volume greater than all A&E attendances across England. GenieConnect is a startup inside Cera, one of the UK's biggest home care providers. We build a remote care platform (companion robots, a care portal, mobile apps), that helps people live independently at home. The result of our initiatives: 96% medication compliance and around 10 hours of care saved per person per week. We're a small enabled team shipping a full-stack Kotlin platform (backend, web portal, Android robot app). We want someone who's comfortable with ambiguity, opinionated about quality, and motivated by shipping things that matter to real people - and who's happy pairing and swapping context with a founding engineer and our Ops team rather than working in isolation. Agentic coding is the norm across Cera and our default here: at least 70% of your code should come through Claude Code or equivalent. About the role You'll be the second senior engineer on a platform that's already live across local authorities and NHS pathways - pairing directly with the engineer who built it from scratch. The foundation is solid; what's ahead is the more interesting problem: more AI, more scale, new care pathways. You'll help set the engineering direction on a full-stack Kotlin platform, with the autonomy of a startup and the contracts and reach of a major care provider behind you. Responsibilities Small team, so you'll touch everything, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the current engineering team: Shape the technical roadmap with the existing dev team and the MD - architecture decisions, build-vs buy calls, tooling choices. We make these calls together, not in a vacuum. Ship full-stack Kotlin across the backend (APIs, data pipelines, NHS/LA integrations), the care portal (web), and the robot app (Android). Sit with ops. Understand how carers and care managers actually use the platform and build from that. Integrate AI capabilities like virtual AI calls, predictive alerts and falls detection. We work with AI partners and need someone who can wire it together end to end. Push agentic coding practices (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) so a small team delivers more than its size suggests. Keep the lights on: CI/CD, testing, observability, AWS. Small team, so you'll touch everything. Qualifications and Skills The codebase is Kotlin Multiplatform and that's where we want the leverage on this contract, so we're looking for a Kotlin-"first" full-stack engineer. Longer term we may be more stack-"agnostic". Backend: Ktor, Spring Boot, or similar. API design, databases. AWS: CI/CD, containers, infrastructure-as-code. Hands-on. Frontend: Kotlin/JS, Compose for Web. Willing to work across the full stack, Android included. You don't need deep mobile experience, but you're up for getting your hands dirty on the robot app when needed. Strategic instinct. You think about where the platform should be in 12 months, not just what's in the current sprint. Ops empathy. You care about how the product is deployed and used, and you go looking for that context. Agentic coding as your default. 70%+ of your daily work already runs through Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor, and you can point to what that's enabled. Pace. You ship, you iterate, and you don't wait for permission. Carriers Real Weight Regulated industry experience in health tech, social care, or fintech. Not essential, but if you already understand compliance, data governance and audit trails you'll get up to speed faster. CQC, NHS Digital, or DTAC frameworks. IoT protocols and device management at scale. Building LLM-powered features in production and configuration. Background in robotics or assistive tech. Beyond the technical skills, we are looking for: AI-native by default. Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor - these are already how you work, not tools you're evaluating. You can point to what they've unlocked for you. Ownership instinct. You see a problem and take it. You don't wait to be assigned. Prioritise issues yourself and move them forward without needing handholding. Pragmatism. You ship the smallest thing that works, then iterate. Done beats perfect. Prioritise the work that delivers value fastest, then improve it from there. Business curiosity. You go find out how the work actually happens, not just how the spec describes it. Learning speed. The stack changes. You don't get attached to what you learned last year. Low ego. You can be wrong, change course, and give credit where it's due. Extra qualifications that will make you stand out: Regulated industry experience (health tech, social care, fintech, defence). Compliance and audit-aware engineering shortens ramp time. Building LLM-powered features in production, evals, drift monitoring, observability. Scheduling, matching, or constraint-solving algorithms at production scale. Tele-ICU-like, command-center, or supervised-automation systems from any domain.

You will have the creative freedom and accountability to shape how our mobile app feels and functions for members. This includes defining and evolving core mobile capabilities, patterns and standards that improve experience quality, support rapid delivery, and raise the bar for customer satisfaction. It means looking beyond feature delivery to obsess over the complete member journey, from first registration or enrolment through to long term engagement. You will work day to day with a dedicated mobile development team through a strategic third party partner, alongside our internal design team, with end to end ownership of the mobile app and channel experience. This role blends practical mobile product experience with a strong appreciation for service and experience design, and an understanding of how technical decisions directly impact usability, performance and member trust. If you are experience driven, customer obsessed, and actively working in mobile, love solving real user problems and want to make a tangible impact on a live product, you will thrive here. Don't worry if you think you don't have all the key skills, it might be worth taking the few minutes to apply as we're good at spotting potential.
