2nd Line IT Support, Reading Job Type: Permanent Location: Reading Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 Start Date: ASAP Established provider of IT Support and Managed Services to the SME sector requires an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team. Job Role: * Provide up to Level 2 desktop support via a CRM system and telephone * Perform pro-active maintenance of IT infrastructure of over 200 clients * Monitor backup solutions Personal Attributes Required: * Excellent telephone manner * Confident * Self-motivated * Passion for all things IT Key IT Knowledge/Experience: * Minimum of 3 years working in an IT support role * Strong troubleshooting experience with Windows XP through to 10 * Strong experience of troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook * Good knowledge of network troubleshooting and setup (TCP/IP) * Experience with firewalls, routers, access points and other network equipment * Working knowledge of mobile devices in the workplace (iPhones, email setup etc) * Experience with Backup technologies and troubleshooting them * Exposure to server technologies The role will suit individuals currently working as a 2nd Line Support Engineer, PC Support, Network Support, Network Analyst and be living within a commutable distance of Reading or be willing to relocate.
