Service Desk Analyst / Helpdesk Analyst (1st Line, Windows 7, Active Directory, Exchange) Edinburgh (West), Scotland Central Belt Permanent, Full-Time £18-22k + Benefits KEY SKILLS: Service Desk/Helpdesk, 1st/2nd line support, Windows 7, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft Office Suite DP Connect are looking to recruit a Service Desk Analyst with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a highly pressurised environment for one of our leading clients, who have a Europe wide user base. The Service Desk Analyst will be based at our client's European Headquarters in Edinburgh, and the majority of the support will be provided remotely by telephone and email. Experience Required: - Experience within an SLA driven Service Desk environment at 1st/2nd line level - Experience in an IT client-facing support role - Experience working for a fast-paced IT department supporting 1000+ users across multiple locations - Knowledge of MS Windows server features: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Security - Windows 7, Internet Explorer and MS Office package installation and troubleshooting - General networking (TCP/IP) knowledge and troubleshooting - Administrating MS Exchange Server Key Responsibilities: - 1st and 2nd line support and administration of Microsoft SQL, AD (including GPO) and Exchange - Participation in incident, problem and change management adhering to ITIL best practices - General server and PC administration and maintenance including backup and restore - Participate in projects involving endpoint encryption and mobile device management Please apply for immediate consideration.
