The role
Our client seeks a Service Desk Analyst to provide first line technical support to clients and resolve ad hoc questions and queries. Reporting to the Client Support Team Leader you will set up system test environments and assist with the testing of system upgrades and implementations and preparation of user documentation. Client relationship management is key to ensure satisfaction and to identify future systems enhancements. Responding to clients’ email and telephone queries you will log, resolve and track technical issues while escalating more complex issues to the Development team for resolution. For client reporting purposes you will analyse, manipulate, extract data and produce reports using SQL.
The requirements
· Minimum 2;i degree in a Science / Engineering / Numerate discipline from a Top 30 UK university.
· At least 1 year working with SQL and possessing a good working knowledge of SQL Server databases.
· Experience and demonstrable success in building and managing customer or client relationships, ideally in an application support environment.
· Ideally experience with one or more of the following:
o C#
o (url removed)
o The latest Microsoft .NET technologies
o Client and server-side web development (jQuery, MVC Frameworks, Web Standards)
Concise and articulate in both oral and written form, you will display analytical and problem solving skills to deal with client issues and develop effective solutions
