We have built an inclusive and welcoming environment, for everyone. Your skills and experience We re interested in experienced engineers who can demonstrate strong software engineering judgement and end-to-end delivery, rather than candidates who simply match a checklist of technologies. Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and one or more modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular or Vue. Experience designing and developing APIs and backend services, using approaches such as REST or GraphQL. Experience working collaboratively with architecture, product, UX and engineering disciplines and communicating technical choices clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers and helping improve engineering practices within a team. The ability to learn unfamiliar technologies, understand how systems fit together and select appropriate solutions rather than being tied to a particular framework. An interest in using AI-assisted development and automation responsibly to improve engineering productivity and quality, subject to appropriate client and Capgemini policies and approvals. Experience in some of the following would also be valuable: design systems and component libraries; distributed or event-driven architectures; microservices; cloud-native engineering; infrastructure as code; observability; mobile or cross-platform development; or AI-enabled products.
