Strong Knowledge of NAS/SAN provisioning, NFS/SMB shares, storage virtual machines (SVMs). Experience upgrading storage appliances and processes required to do so. Knowledge of fibre channel zoning and LUN creation (preferable). Experience with Backup tooling and technologies (Veeam preferable). Snapshot-based backups and robotic library systems knowledge. Administration of backup technologies, policy design, scheduling, retention plans and restore and recovery workflows. Previous experience with regulatory, encryption, retention, and audit requirements a bonus.
