AI Automation Test Engineer (Contract) 12-month initial contract (extension potential) 400- 600 per day (Inside IR35) Start date: ASAP Remote-first with occasional travel to London If you're passionate about quality in AI-enabled digital experiences, this is a great opportunity to help ensure a high-profile, citizen-facing mobile and web application performs reliably at national scale. You'll join a major digital transformation programme in an Agile environment, building automation that strengthens confidence across traditional and AI-driven features. What you'll be doing: Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites Execute functional, regression, integration and performance testing Validate AI-driven features, workflows and automated decision-making processes Collaborate with developers, architects and product teams to embed quality throughout delivery Build automation solutions using Java and Cucumber Analyse test results and drive continuous quality improvements Manage defects, reporting and documentation using JIRA and Confluence Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices Help ensure application performance, scalability and resilience across large-scale platforms What you'll bring: Strong experience in automation testing / quality engineering Hands-on experience with Java and Cucumber Background in performance testing Experience using JIRA and Confluence Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies Experience working across enterprise-scale or digital transformation programmes Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.
