ATG Entertainment
Data Scientist
ATG Entertainment
Data Scientist When registering to this job board you will be redirected to the online application form. Please ensure that this is completed in full in order that your application can be reviewed. Data Scientist Pricing is one of the most direct levers ATG has for revenue growth, and the Pricing Data Science team has already proven that out through several pricing models now live in production. As the team scales across multiple growth areas, this hire is central to that expansion: working alongside Revenue Managers to build proofs of concept that make sure no revenue opportunity goes unexplored and helping size and prioritise the next models on the roadmap. The role sits at the intersection of Revenue Management, CRM & Marketing, and ML Engineering, and needs someone who can operate credibly across all three. In the near term, that means adding delivery capacity to two live workstreams: the Sales-facing revenue quick-wins programme and the model backlog, with output from week one, not after a long ramp. Key responsibilities Contribute directly to the live revenue quick wins workstream, translating commercial rules and constraints supplied by Sales into working model logic. Own discrete items from the model backlog end-to-end: specify, build, validate, and ship to production. Apply causal inference to pricing decisions at the same rigor the team already uses for VP measurement: difference-in-differences, CausalImpact/BSTS-style approaches, or comparable quasi-experimental design, with suppression and substitution effects accounted for rather than a naive before/after comparisonRun two to three workstreams concurrently with minimal supervision, and flag blockers and scope risk early rather than waiting to be asked. Your skills, qualities, and experience Essential A proven track record of applied experience in pricing or revenue management analytics in a genuinely high-frequency, perishable-inventory, demand-variable domain: live events/ticketing, airline, hotel, sports, or transport RM. Ticketing/entertainment-sector experience is strongly preferred, not mandatory. Hands-on causal inference applied to a real pricing or promotional decision, not textbook familiarity: can describe, unprompted, how they handled confounding and selection bias on an actual dataset. Applied statistics/econometrics strong enough to defend a specific model choice (why OLS, why a GLM, why not a black-box model) rather than defaulting to whichever library was fastest to reach for. Demonstrated comfort switching between unrelated problems inside a single week without a long re-orientation each time. Desirable Direct pricing or revenue management experience in live entertainment or ticketing specifically. AWS ML stack experience (SageMaker in particular), or a demonstrated fast translation from an equivalent platform. Experience with seat-map or other inventory-constrained demand modelling. Exposure to LLM/GenAI tooling inside a production analytics workflow. Python About Us-Our values ATG Entertainment's values set the tone for how we work, how we treat one another, and the culture we continue to build across the UK and the wider organisation. THRIVE doing what we love (with passion and dynamism) CONNECT through every act (with collaboration and kindness) DARE to do different (with curiosity and courage) PERFORM at our best (with customer focus and ownership) Our Corporate Social Responsibility pillars Everyone at ATG Entertainment is expected to play their part in achieving our goals and upholding our Corporate Social Responsibility priorities: Inclusion: Committing to creating and upholding a positive, inclusive culture that nurtures potential and supports well-being. Sustainability: Playing your part in reducing our environmental impact and finding more sustainable ways of working. Next Generations: Encouraging the next generation in live entertainment by contributing to our outreach and training programmes, including mentoring students and trainees, and supporting our Creative Learning and Community Partnerships work. Our culture You'll help us uphold a positive culture around meeting our obligations, by having a positive attitude to health and safety, legal and insurance requirements and take care to understand our policies and procedures. We are all expected to participate actively in the life of the company, and opportunities will arise for you to collaborate with others across the business. Everyone at ATG Entertainment is expected to be flexible and adapt as the needs of the business change, taking on new or different responsibilities as the need arises. Our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access Mission Statement - A Stage for Everyone Our stages are a platform for compelling stories - stories that are for all, by all, and of all. We shine our spotlight on our differences and believe that understanding and celebrating these differences makes us better global citizens. We are passionate about the pursuit of true diversity and equality. We strive to make our venues beacons of these ideals in our communities. Onstage and off, we hold ourselves accountable for nurturing an inclusive culture, one in which everyone can bring their authentic selves. At ATG entertainment, we provide a stage for everyone. We recognise that we do not have all the answers; but we strive to listen, to learn and to change in order to ensure ATG Entertainment becomes a truly inclusive organisation. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from individuals from the widest possible range of backgrounds and particularly welcome applications from those currently underrepresented in our workforce. We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer, which means that we are taking action to ensure that people with disabilities and long-term health conditions feel supported, engaged and able to fulfil their potential in the workplace. We will offer an interview or recruitment event to disabled candidates who tell us they wish to participate in the scheme and who demonstrate in their application that they best meet the essential criteria for the role. Where we receive more applications than we are reasonably able to interview for any given role, we will retain applications for the next available interview opportunity wherever possible. If you'd like to discuss accessibility prior to applying, please email for a confidential discussion.

Nicoll Curtin Technology
Senior Backend Engineer (AI Systems) Remote (United Kingdom) | Permanent | Flexible compensation (DOE), performance bonus + equity We're working with a well-funded, AI-first technology business building systems that go beyond traditional chatbot experiences and execute real-world tasks autonomously. The team is focused on creating AI product systems that can reliably complete meaningful work for users, handling long-running workflows, maintaining context over time, interacting with external tools, and operating consistently in production environments. This is not a pure model development role. The challenge is turning model capability into reliable product behaviour, ensuring AI systems can perform correctly when interacting with real users and live services at scale. The Opportunity This role sits between models and users, owning the systems that power AI behaviour in production. You'll be responsible for building and operating the infrastructure and workflows that allow AI features to execute end-to-end, with a strong focus on reliability, observability, latency, and user experience. Areas of responsibility include: Building production Back End systems that serve AI-powered product features Designing retrieval, inference, and orchestration workflows Developing reliable multi-step AI workflows and agent systems Integrating models with external tools, services, and APIs Monitoring, evaluating, and improving AI behaviour in production Optimising latency, throughput, caching, batching, and streaming Debugging failures across distributed systems and AI workflows Building observable systems with robust monitoring and incident response capabilities What They're Looking For The team is particularly interested in engineers who have experience operating AI systems in production rather than simply integrating model APIs.
