Overview We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT team supporting schools across an Academy Trust based in and around Uttoxeter. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students across multiple school sites, acting as an escalation point for First Line Support and helping to maintain reliable, secure and effective IT services. Technical Lead - Python, React, FastAPI, AWS, DevOps Middlesex - 3 days onsite £700 - £800 per day 6-12 Month Contract Inside IR35 Our client is looking to recruit a highly capable Technical Lead to oversee Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps automation; to take ownership of the technical direction, architecture, and engineering quality of a modern product environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine deep technical expertise with architectural oversight and team guidance to help shape scalable, secure, and maintainable systems. The Technical Lead will work across Back End services, Front End applications, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, integrations, and operational tooling, ensuring engineering delivery remains aligned with both product goals and long-term architectural direction. The role - Technical Lead to oversee Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps automation: As the senior technical authority within the product team, you'll lead on solution design, engineering standards, and technical decision-making across the full technology stack. This role requires someone comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels - from guiding architecture and reviewing designs through to debugging complex production issues and supporting critical deliveries.
