Third Bridge is a leading global research firm established in 2007, with a team of over 1,500 employees worldwide dedicated to fueling decisions with expert insights. We accelerate and enhance decision making for investors and business leaders by unearthing unique expert insights across multiple sectors, geographies, and topics. For nearly 20 years, we've helped clients access knowledge on demand from experts, in person and through our Library covering over 65,000 companies. We stand at the cutting edge of technology and investment research, driving innovation to deliver solutions that set new industry standards. We are building a Data Science capability within our Data Architecture function, and are seeking a Data Scientist who combines technical rigour with a prototyping mindset - someone dedicated to proving what's possible with our data and handing those proofs to engineering. About the Role: As a Data Scientist at Third Bridge, you will be the engineering focused prototyping engine within a high impact data team. Working alongside our senior analytics capability and reporting to the Principal Data Architect, your primary mandate is to design, build, and validate proof of concept (PoC) solutions - from new dataset pipelines and ML models to AI powered internal tools - and hand off successful proofs to the engineering team for production integration. You will work with Third Bridge's rich proprietary data assets: transcripts, events, interaction data, commercial performance metrics, and content derived from tens of thousands of expert interviews. The role gives you the mandate to find new ways to extract value from that data, with the freedom to experiment and the expectation to ship. Key Responsibilities: Design and build PoC solutions with a clear 'ship or kill' decision framework, defining evaluation criteria upfront so success is measurable, not just qualitative. Build extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) pipelines to create net new datasets for analytical or ML use, including feature engineering pipelines for model training and downstream reporting. Apply supervised and unsupervised ML techniques to commercially relevant problems: usage propensity, client segmentation, churn modelling, content recommendation, and anomaly detection. Develop lightweight Python based tools and notebook applications that allow business stakeholders to interact with model outputs or curated data extracts. Prototype AI assisted internal tools - including applications leveraging LLM APIs, embedding based search, and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) - to demonstrate near term business value from Third Bridge's content assets. Collaborate closely with the analytics peers to align on data definitions, shared datasets, and metric standards that underpin both experimental and production work. Work with the engineering team to define production requirements for successful PoCs, producing clean, well documented code and architecture notes to support seamless handoff. Advocate upstream for data quality and instrumentation requirements with Product and Engineering, contributing to the team's engineering standards and practices. Essential Qualifications: Masters degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a quantitative field such as Economics. Professional experience in a data science, ML engineering, or applied data role. Strong Python programming skills, including hands on experience with pandas, scikit learn, and at least one ML or deep learning framework. Working knowledge of Bedrock and other AWS managed services. Demonstrable experience building and deploying at least one end to end ML model or data pipeline in a professional setting, with clear evaluation criteria and documented outcomes. A track record of building PoC or prototype solutions and iterating toward production readiness, with the discipline to define 'ship or kill' criteria upfront. Strong version control practices (Git) and familiarity with software engineering workflows including code review and CI/CD awareness. The ability to communicate technical findings and trade offs clearly to both technical peers and non technical stakeholders. Desired Attributes: Exceptional problem solving instincts and a bias toward shipping: able to make a PoC useful and demonstrable quickly, without over engineering early stage solutions. Familiarity with AWS Bedrock or other managed AI/LLM platforms (e.g. OpenAI API, Anthropic API) for building and integrating AI powered features is a strong plus, though AI capability should complement, not replace, a solid foundation in traditional ML. Experience with NLP, text classification, embedding models, or semantic search, particularly applied to content rich or document heavy datasets. Familiarity with building lightweight web applications or data tools such as Streamlit, FastAPI, or Flask, enabling business stakeholders to interact directly with model outputs. Experience with orchestration or transformation tooling such as dbt, Airflow, or Prefect, demonstrating an ability to build reproducible and maintainable pipelines. A tech agnostic mindset, open to selecting the right tool for each problem - whether that is a classical statistical model, a gradient boosting approach, or an LLM backed workflow. Exposure to product analytics, B2B SaaS, publishing, or content rich datasets is a plus. Natural curiosity and a proactive approach to staying current with developments in both traditional ML and generative AI - and bringing relevant ideas back to the team. Excellent collaboration skills, with the instinct to treat the analytics peer and engineering team as partners rather than handoff recipients. How will you be rewarded? We truly care about our people so in return for your work, you'll get: Vacation: 25 days (which increases to 28 days after 2 years of service) plus UK Bank Holidays Learning: personal development allowance of £1000 per year Health and wellbeing: private medical insurance and healthcare cash plan, a variety of health and wellbeing events to focus on mental health, Ride to Work scheme (savings on bikes and accessories) Future and family: pension contributions of 4% (increases with tenure) and life insurance of 4x of your base salary Flexibility: work from anywhere for one month per year, 2 annual volunteer days, 2 personal days when life throws you a curveball and 'Summer Fridays' Rewards: get points through our colleague to colleague recognition programme to spend on hotels, gift cards, donations to charity and more Social: optional social gatherings, daily breakfast and snacks, social events ESG: CSR, Environment and Diversity & Inclusion (including Women at Third Bridge, Pride and Blkbridge) Frontline Innovation: your chance to share your ideas for improvement through Hackathons and other events Third Bridge values your trust and is committed to the responsible management, use, and protection of personal information. By submitting a Third Bridge job application, I hereby provide Third Bridge (including Third Bridge's affiliates and relevant third party suppliers) with my consent to collect, store and process my personal information for the purpose of recruitment administration, as well as to share such personal information with third parties for the same purpose, in accordance with Candidate Privacy Notice. We know that to be truly innovative, we need to have a diverse team around us. That is why Third Bridge is committed to creating an inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. If you are not 100% sure if you are right for the role, please apply anyway, and we will be happy to consider your application.

About OLIX AI is growing faster than any technology in history and the explosion in demand has created a massive infrastructure gap; we can no longer build chips or power stations fast enough to keep up. The industry is still leaning on a ten-year-old hardware blueprint that has reached its limit. A new paradigm that is faster and more efficient will be the biggest economic opportunity of the next century and create the most important company of the next decade. The OLIX Decode Accelerator 1 (DX-1) is the first accelerator architected specifically for decode. Rack-scale co-design of logic, data movement, packaging, optics and interconnect enables a step change in system level performance. The Role We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Senior/Staff DFT (Design For Test) Engineers with a strong focus on high-performance digital design to take end-to-end ownership of robust, testable silicon-from early test strategy definition to verified DFT implementation, pattern generation, and silicon bring-up. You will join a multidisciplinary group creating next-generation accelerators where digital, optical and mixed-signal domains intersect. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the DFT of large-scale, high-volume ASICs, and a passion for developing reliable, high-coverage test architectures that drive breakthrough AI hardware. Responsibilities Architect, own, and implement the comprehensive Design-for-Test (DFT) strategy for complex high-throughput digital pipelines in advanced CMOS nodes, ensuring high test coverage and efficient test execution. Lead the integration and verification of all DFT features, including Scan, JTAG, Boundary Scan, and Memory BIST, ensuring adherence to industrial standards and sign-off criteria. Partner with the test engineering team to develop, validate, and optimize ATE-compatible test patterns (stuck-at, transition, bridging, etc.) to achieve aggressive fault coverage and maximise manufacturing yield. Drive RTL development (SystemVerilog / Verilog / VHDL) with a focus on DFT architecture, including synthesis constraints for test structures, and collaborate on formal and constrained-random verification of DFT logic. Analyse and minimise the DFT impact on power, performance, and area (PPA), implementing innovative techniques for efficient test access and execution. Collaborate with mixed-signal and software teams to define and optimise DFT interfaces, test modes, and firmware abstractions for test control and diagnosis. Mentor junior engineers, lead DFT design reviews, and champion best-practice methodologies for testability and debug across the ASIC development lifecycle. Skills & Experience 7+ years of hands on DFT architecture, implementation, and verification for high performance ASICs or SoCs, including ownership of at least one product with comprehensive DFT coverage. Proven success implementing and verifying advanced DFT features (e.g., Scan/ATPG, Boundary Scan, Memory BIST/Repair) on multi hundred MHz to multi GHz clock domains. Expertise with industry standard EDA flows: Scan insertion, ATPG, pattern simulation (gate-level), fault modeling, and diagnosis tools. Demonstrated proficiency with DFT flows: compression techniques, EDT, JTAG/IEEE 1149.1/1687, and managing large pattern sets. Proficiency using Python/Tcl scripting for DFT flow automation, pattern generation/management, and silicon debug/bring-up. Solid grounding in semiconductor device physics, fault models (stuck-at, transition, bridging), and yield enhancement strategies. Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration abilities; thrives in a fast moving, ambiguous environment. Nice to have Tape out experience at 22 nm or below. Knowledge of high-speed SerDes or HBM/DDR DFT challenges. Familiarity with AI/ML workloads or systolic arrays and their implications for DFT. Contributions to open source DFT tools or verification frameworks. Compensation & Equity Competitive Salary: Commensurate with your experience, skills, and location. Equity & Ownership: Meaningful stock options. You're not just joining the mission; you're owning a piece of it. Proximity Bonus: We value your time. To minimise your commute and maximise your life, we offer a £24k annual Living Local Bonus if your residence is within 20 minutes of the office. Health & Wellbeing Premium Healthcare: Comprehensive BUPA medical and dental cover, including Medical History Disregarded (MHD), for complete peace of mind. About StackOne: StackOne is the AI Integration Gateway for SaaS products and AI Agents. Backed by GV and Workday Ventures ($24M raised), we help builders of SaaS platforms and AI Agents orchestrate hundreds of scalable, accurate, and enterprise-grade integrations. Our platform combines 25,000 pre-mapped actions on 200 connectors, an AI-powered integration development toolkit, plus security by design: a real-time architecture, managed authentication and permissions, and end-to-end observability. Join us on our fast trajectory to build the future of agentic integrations. About the role We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to own how StackOne is built, shipped, and run, as we scale across our own cloud and into our customers' clouds. You'll own the infrastructure behind the platform, our deployment pipeline and developer tooling, and how we package StackOne to run inside customers' own AWS, GCP, or Azure accounts. It's a hands on role with broad scope. You write code and tooling, you own the IaC other engineers depend on, and you set the standard for how every new repository gets deployed and secured. You'll report directly to the CTO and work closely with our Security Engineer and tech leads. Responsibilities Own our infrastructure at scale: the AWS estate today (ECS Fargate, Aurora, ElastiCache, MSK, OpenSearch, Lambda, KMS) and the AWS CDK to Terraform migration. Keep it reliable, observable, and cost aware. Build out the deployment pipeline as we consolidate toward a monorepo: the CI/CD that ships every service, plus an automated end to end testing harness with incremental (affected only) testing that stays fast as we grow. Ship into customers' own clouds (self hosted / BYOC): the Terraform modules, container images, runbooks, and documentation for internal teams and customers. Own the release and upgrade path for self hosted customers: versioned, signed releases, a supported version policy, and a call home for usage and version reporting. Set the standard for new repositories: partner with the Security Engineer and tech leads so new projects (product, internal tools, and vibe coded prototypes) ship secure and deployable from day one. Templates and golden paths, not gate keeping. Raise reliability: SLOs, observability, and incident response. Make the system easy to operate when something breaks at 3am. Treat infrastructure as a product: paved roads and self serve tooling so product engineers ship without waiting on you. Use AI in the workflow: lean on LLMs and agents for IaC generation, test scaffolding, and runbook drafting, with guardrails you trust. What we're looking for 4+ years in platform, infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps, with hands on AWS at scale: ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, networking, IAM, KMS. Deep IaC ability: Terraform and/or AWS CDK, comfortable owning modules other teams build on. Strong CI/CD and monorepo build experience: caching and incremental/affected only test execution. You've made a slow pipeline fast. Strong coding in TypeScript, Python, or Go. You build tooling, not just YAML and configs. Containers in production (Docker); Kubernetes a plus. Security minded: you bake secure defaults into pipelines and repo templates, and partner with security rather than routing around it. A clear writer: docs and runbooks that internal engineers and external customers can follow. End to end ownership: you scope, ship, and measure, and automate instead of running manual checklists. Nice to have Shipping software into customers' own cloud or on prem (BYOC / self hosted), or a platform like Nuon, Replicated, or Omnistrate. Multi cloud (GCP or Azure) IaC, and exposure to Temporal, Kafka/MSK, ClickHouse, or OpenSearch. Our stack Cloud & infra: AWS (ECS Fargate, Aurora Postgres, ElastiCache, MSK, OpenSearch, Lambda, S3, KMS, CloudFront, WAF), Cloudflare (Workers, WAF) IaC: AWS CDK today, migrating to Terraform Data & messaging: Postgres, Redis, Kafka, OpenSearch, ClickHouse CI/CD: GitHub Actions Observability & analytics: Datadog, Sentry, Metabase Languages: TypeScript (Node.js), Python Benefits Meaningful share options (EMI) 25 days holiday + 1 additional day per year of tenure Private health insurance, including dental & optical £15/day London office lunch budget, up to £120/month £1,000 home office setup + £500/year top up Annual team offsite to sunny spots Join one of Europe's fastest growing startups Work with a veteran team of ex Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Coinbase, JP Morgan and more Health, fitness and gift card discounts; Cycle2Work and Electric Cars scheme London (hybrid, 2 days/week) preferred; open to remote within the UK We believe diversity drives innovation. Location London Employment Type Full time Department Engineering Are you a Software Engineer who thrives on real ownership? At Perk, we know that we feel most fulfilled when we can own the problem and the solution. This means taking responsibility for the entire lifecycle of a feature, from being part in understanding what our customers' pains are with our product team, design documents, coding to deployment, and measuring impact. You will see how your technical decisions move the needle for our customers daily. We prioritize autonomy and pragmatism, giving you the space to solve complex problems without unnecessary friction. Engineering excellence here is measured by the reliability and simplicity of the systems you build to power a global platform. How we work At Perk, we believe the best work happens when great people come together in small teams, with a shared sense of purpose. You'll join a cross-functional squad where you have real ownership of a piece of Perk's domains, a genuine say in what gets built, and the autonomy to make it happen. Each team to decide how to contribute to Perk's company goals. We care about impact, and we trust our people to deliver it. AI at Perk AI is embedded in how we work and what we build. On the engineering side, it spans the whole workflow: our Notion, Jira, GitHub and Slack are AI-connected so you get up to speed fast, and day-to-day it helps with specifying features, writing and reviewing code, and automated AI PR review on every pull request. When something goes wrong in production, AI surfaces context across systems quickly. We also embrace agentic coding, using AI as an active collaborator, not just a prompt-by-prompt co-pilot. We expect candidates to use AI tools in our coding interviews. The bar is understanding your code and owning what you produce. That reflects how we work every day. Some examples of what it means to be a Senior at Perk Shape the bigger picture. You won't just build features, you'll refine the what to build and why. At Perk, senior engineers are expected to go beyond the technical solution and focus on the problem itself. You'll contribute to your squad's quarterly goals and long-term vision alongside your Product Manager and Engineering Manager. Architect for today and tomorrow. When a big change is needed in how our platform works, you'll be the one writing the design documents that lay the foundation. You'll become a guardian of your team's technical quality; spotting areas of investment, proactively managing technical debt, and making sure we don't let "busy work" crowd out the work that truly matters. At Perk, we believe in impact over effort: our customers see results, not the hours behind them. Your job is to make sure we're always investing our energy where it counts most. Lead across boundaries. Your influence won't stop at your own squad. You'll communicate complex ideas across multiple teams, proactively identify who needs to be involved, and drive alignment across the broader organisation. Whether it's coordinating a cross-squad initiative, contributing to one of our engineering guilds (where engineers from different teams align on shared technical topics), or pairing with architects on solution discovery, you'll operate comfortably beyond your immediate team. Raise the bar for everyone around you. Senior engineers at Perk are mentors, coaches, and bar raisers. You'll support less experienced colleagues through direct mentorship, thoughtful feedback during reviews, and by modelling what great engineering looks like in practice. You'll help Engineering Managers understand where the team needs to grow technically, and you'll use spaces like guild meetings, design doc reviews, and pairing sessions to lift the overall standard. At Perk, we are a team, the team's success is your success. Desired skills and experience Product Leadership: Translates complex business goals into technical roadmaps; de-risks ambiguous projects through spikes and prototyping. System Architecture: Architects scalable, evolvable systems and data models that account for performance, failure isolation, and long-term maintenance. Technical Standards: Defines and upholds engineering excellence, including CI/CD optimizations, testing strategies, and coding standards across the stack. Frontend Strategy: Establishes frontend architecture patterns, including state management, performance budgets, and comprehensive testing (e.g., E2E/Cypress). Backend Excellence: Engineers sophisticated backend solutions involving API versioning, caching strategies, and complex data migration plans. Operational Maturity: Leads observability and SRE practices; defines SLOs, manages incident responses, and conducts blameless post-mortems. Security & Risk: Oversees operational security, including secrets hygiene and dependency risk management, to ensure a hardened production environment. Mentorship & Influence: Levels up the engineering organization through active mentorship, leading design reviews, and influencing the product roadmap with technical data. Cross-Functional Impact: Coordinates multi-team deliverables and aligns stakeholders to resolve technical blockers across the organization. AI-Driven Development: Experience with-or a strong interest in-modern AI-augmented workflows. This includes leveraging agentic workflows, developing custom agentic skills to extend AI capabilities, utilizing AI-powered code reviews. How We Work We take an IRL first approach to work, where our team works together in person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs. We fundamentally believe in the value of meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, creativity and ultimately making us a great place to work. For certain roles, we can help with relocation from anywhere in the world. English is the official language at the office. Please submit your resume in English if you choose to apply. Do not forget to submit an updated portfolio and/or resume. Perk is a global company with a diverse customer base, and we want to make sure the people behind our product reflect that. We're an equal opportunity employer, which means you're welcome at Perk regardless of how you look, where you're from, or anything else that makes you, well, you.
