Working at Samsara means you'll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that's shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you'll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term. About the role: Samsara is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Governance Platform team. This team builds the foundational platforms that enforce governance, identity security, compliance, and software supply-chain protections across all of Samsara's cloud infrastructure and developer environments. Rather than relying on manual reviews or policy enforcement, this team delivers secure, compliant-by-default systems through cloud IAM guardrails, automated controls, and scalable platform abstractions across AWS and GCP. As a Senior Engineer you will contribute hands on to systems that need to be reliable and secure at scale, taking ownership of your components end to end. You will bring strong engineering judgment to design discussions, while looking to senior/staff engineers and your manager for guidance on cross team tradeoffs. You should apply if: You want to impact the industries that run our world: The software, firmware, and hardware you build will result in real world impact, helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely. You want to build for scale: With over 2.3 million IoT devices deployed to our global customers, you will work on a range of new and mature technologies driving scalable innovation for customers across industries driving the world's physical operations. You are a life long learner: We have ambitious goals. Every Samsarian has a growth mindset as we work with a wide range of technologies, challenges, and customers that push us to learn on the go. You believe customers are more than a number: Samsara engineers enjoy a rare closeness to the end user and you will have the opportunity to participate in customer interviews, collaborate with customer success and product managers, and use metrics to ensure our work is translating into better customer outcomes. You are a team player: Working on our Samsara Engineering teams requires a mix of independent effort and collaboration. Motivated by our mission, we're all racing toward our connected operations vision, and we intend to win together. Contribute to the roadmap for governance and security tooling across AWS and GCP, bringing engineering judgment to prioritization discussions. Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into automated, continuously enforced controls through direct implementation. Build and maintain software supply chain security tooling, including SAST, DAST, and secure CI/CD pipeline patterns. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, and Product Engineering teams to implement solutions for cross functional risk and governance problems. Share technical knowledge with teammates through code reviews, pairing, and day to day collaboration. Clearly communicate technical approach, tradeoffs, and risks in design docs and team discussions. Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices Minimum requirements for this role. 4+ years of industry experience in software development. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience. Strong programming/coding and design fundamentals (Golang, Python or similar). API Platform Architect - Member of Technical Staff
Callosum
About the Role You'll own the architecture and the technical bar for the API platform our customers integrate against. A customer sends a request for a workflow. Your platform authenticates it, routes it to the right execution backend, scales to meet the load, and keeps every customer's traffic and data fully separate from every other's. The model execution itself sits behind endpoints your platform consumes, so this is a role about the API and orchestration layer, not the serving internals. This is the most senior engineering hire on the platform. It's a build role first and a leadership role second. You'll write the core systems yourself for some time before you mostly direct others. You'll set the foundation the rest of the engineering team builds on, and grow a small platform team around you, starting with a reliability engineer and a product engineer. What You'll Build The API surface customers integrate against, and the orchestration layer behind it: request lifecycle, routing, and state management. DNS routing, load balancing, and autoscaling, so the platform meets demand without anyone touching it by hand. Multi-tenancy and isolation. Per-workflow scaling and deployment. The technical bar. Design standards, code review, and the architectural decisions that are expensive to reverse later. Performance and scalability as customer volume grows to millions of concurrent requests. Production reliability, as a partnership. You set the architecture that makes reliability achievable. A dedicated reliability engineer owns day-to-day operations. What You Bring Deep experience designing, building, and operating production API platforms that customers depend on. Strong distributed-systems fundamentals: stateless and stateful services, routing, queueing, autoscaling, multi-tenancy, fault tolerance. A track record of owning architecture for a system at scale. The judgment to know which architectural decisions are reversible and which are not. Hands-on, with a bias for action. You want to build, not just direct, and an early-stage environment where you set the foundations is what you're after. Comfort with ambiguity and a strong sense of ownership. You'll make consequential calls without complete information. What Sets You Apart Experience with multi-tenant systems where data separation between customers is a hard requirement. Familiarity with high-throughput inference or agent workloads, and a feel for how different workload types place different demands on the infrastructure around them. Experience running production API infrastructure that meets high-assurance standards. Open-source contributions to relevant infrastructure, or production systems whose scale and complexity you can speak to in detail. Early-stage and AI-native company experience. What We Offer Competitive Salary, determined by skills and experience Equity & Ownership Private healthcare We offer Visa sponsorship and relocation benefits to hire the best in the world We work in person at our London office. You'll have the tools, space and setup to do your best work, and if you have specific needs, just tell us We're committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcome, and believe in equal opportunities for all.

Manager - Data & Digital
Social Finance Ltd
The opportunity Data & Digital is a significant growth area for Social Finance, and we are now looking to grow our team to deliver on the ambitions of our impact strategy and contribute to scaling key impact portfolios. As a Manager, your work will be varied, from leading projects/products, to contributing to our data & digital strategy and shaping new opportunities, to coaching and mentoring colleagues. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about how data and technology can be used to solve social problems, and who has strong experience/interest in working to deliver programmes requiring a combination of technical, strategic and operational expertise. Salary: £56,500 Location: Hybrid, London Bridge SE1 Closing date: 31 July 2026 The Team Our UK Team comprises around 60 dedicated change makers, bringing together a wide range of skills and expertise to deliver better solutions to complex social problems. This role will anchor to the Data & Digital Community of Practice within our UK Team. As a Community of Practice, we bring multi disciplinary data & digital skills to solve complex problems and improve outcomes for people and communities. Our portfolio spans Social Finance's four key impact areas: Children & Young People, Health & Social Care, Employment & Skills, and Housing & Homelessness. Across these, we focus on delivering programmes with the greatest potential for impact at scale, addressing a range of levers for systems change. Examples of key strategic programmes Developing National Social Care Data Standards: We have partnered with central government to shape the rules, data models and market conditions that enable key information to be shared and systems to interoperate at scale across children's and adult social care. This includes developing and governing data standards, contributing to improving analytics, identifying opportunities to support children as early as possible, and releasing time to care for social workers. Social Finance has an ongoing role convening strategy, design and implementation of these data standards, triangulating inputs from across technical, commercial, policy and operational domains. Scaling a Common Data Platform to Enable Regional Children's Services Analysis: We collaborated with local authorities to develop a secure data platform that facilitates regional analysis of children's services data, unlocking insights around critical areas to improve outcomes for children and families, from demand modelling to inform service planning, to analysing sufficiency of care placements. The work started in London in 2020, and the data platform is now used by c. 40% of local authorities. Delivering Digital Innovation Support Programmes in Health & Care: We have collaborated with foundation and government partners to deliver 6 digital innovation support programmes with national / international reach, supporting 200+ innovators across impact areas including Mental Health Data, Care Tech and Dementia Tech. Our support combines strategic support for funders with a comprehensive support offer for innovators, enabling teams to tailor their learning journey across technical, human centred design and scale & sustainability modules. The role We are looking for a manager with data and digital expertise to deliver programmes supporting public and social sector partners to improve outcomes for people and communities. We have a wide range of programmes spanning two key strategic objectives: Enabling better strategic and operational decision making by advancing data maturity: from improving data quality and standards, to setting up data sharing infrastructure, to data reporting and analysis. Scaling data & digital transformation through innovation programmes & partnerships: from partnering with funders to deliver data & digital challenge prizes and learning networks, to designing tailored apprenticeships to build data & digital skills across key impact areas. This breadth is intentional. Rather than trying to develop our own leadership in a single area, we are trying to achieve social change. We take on this wide variety of challenges because these are the levers needed to change systems. You will need to be excited by that breadth - and by the frequent need for teams to blend technical with policy and service delivery expertise to identify the right solution. Ultimately, social impact should be your driver rather than the use of cutting edge data science approaches or the latest technologies, as we are often constrained by the data, technology, and in house capability of our partners. This provides you with the opportunity to think of creative ways to work around those constraints and consider that to be part of the fun. Key responsibilities Manage delivery of data & digital projects/products, often spanning multiple organisations, sectors and delivery partners. Work with Directors to set project vision, and define a clear roadmap to coordinate distinct workstreams with different rhythms and stakeholders. Identify and manage risks, interdependencies and constraints, managing upwards effectively and coordinating with functional leads where appropriate (e.g. Information Governance, Legal, Finance). Build trusted working relationships with key stakeholders across partner organisations (e.g. government departments, foundations, local authorities, NHS Trusts, vendors and delivery partners). Communicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders, acting as a bridge between individuals from different disciplines to triangulate a shared vision, and enable stakeholders to take important decisions. Foster a ' one team' approach with partner organisations to share knowledge and expertise so that partners can undertake similar work themselves in future. Programme team leadership and development Coordinate across a multi disciplinary programme team, fostering effective collaboration across disciplines (including e.g. software developers, data scientists, user researchers, service designers and operational or domain specialists). Deliver strong project management, providing clarity, structure and momentum for team members. Enable effective problem solving through influencing, coordinating and unblocking across teams, rather than directing. Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture, and support staff development, morale and wellbeing. Working with specialist content as a generalist Operate confidently as a generalist engaging with specialist domains, without needing to be the technical expert. Across programmes, this can include for example: Ability to get up to speed quickly on an unfamiliar technical domain, asking the right questions rather than already knowing the answers. Triangulating product development decisions & prioritisation, drawing on input from multi disciplinary stakeholders. Ability to reason across technical, strategic and operational considerations to make strategic recommendations. Understanding information governance well enough to track dependencies, identify blockers and know when to engage internal IG experts. Use this understanding to inform programme delivery decisions and stakeholder discussions. Practice development and business contribution Contribute to the development of Social Finance's data and digital practice, including shaping approaches, tools and ways of working. Support business development by contributing to scoping and developing proposals for new project opportunities. Work with the senior team to shape our data & digital strategy across Social Finance's key impact areas. About you We are looking for an individual whose interests and experience align with the ambitions of our impact strategy to bring data & digital skills to delivering complex systems change. A clear and sustained interest in data & digital transformation, with motivation to work in this space long term. Experience managing data and digital projects/products, including working with multi disciplinary teams. Strong project management capability, including managing ambiguity, interdependencies, phased delivery and evolving scope. Familiarity with the product development lifecycle and approaches to navigate from ideation to final solutions. Ability to reason about and communicate technical concepts with a range of stakeholders, including helping non specialists to understand data and technology and take important decisions, from re designing services to choosing a coding language. Strong stakeholder management skills, with credibility engaging external partners across different roles and levels of seniority. Experience leading and developing teams, delivering impact through others. The following experience would be advantageous but is not required: Product management. Human centred design. Experience working in or for the public sector. Experience in one or more of Social Finance's impact areas (Children & Young People, Health & Social Care, Employment & Skills, and Housing & Homelessness). Equity, Diversity & Inclusion We actively encourage applications from under representated and minoritised groups, including those with lived experience of the social issues we are working to address. We are an equal opportunities employer. Working at Social Finance The fixed salary for this position is £56,500 per annum. Working for a mission driven organisation is more than just what we pay though . click apply for full job details

Senior Software Engineer II
Samsara
Staff Software Engineer - Sustainability Remote - UK ID:JR10501 (for internal use only) Who we are Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing - and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale. About the role: In this newly-created Staff Software Engineer role, you will architect the technical foundation for global fleet sustainability, digitising the massive transport and infrastructure sectors that power our world. Our focus isn't on traditional cost-saving; it's on resource efficiency at a global scale. At Samsara, Staff Engineers are hands-on technical leaders who bridge high-level architectural strategy with a relentless builder mindset. Operating with empowered autonomy, they tackle the most ambiguous challenges at the intersection of physical and digital operations. Unlike traditional architects, they stay deeply close to the implementation-maintaining an active "hands-on" presence in the codebase-to drive rapid innovation and maintain velocity. They act as force multipliers, raising the technical bar through thoughtful mentorship and pragmatic decision-making, ensuring that every line of code translates into tangible impact for the world's foundational industries. In this role, you will lead the technical strategy for our Sustainability suite-from refining raw, inconsistent sensor signals into high-fidelity data for precise energy monitoring, to building the complex global infrastructure required for fleet electrification. By leveraging Samsara's massive operational dataset, you will establish the technical foundation that empowers customers to reduce their carbon footprint, optimize real-time driver behavior, and significantly decrease fuel consumption across millions of miles. In this role, you will: Architect and own the technical strategy for Samsara's entire Sustainability product suite, covering the full lifecycle of fuel and electric vehicle energy. Lead the design and implementation of real time, complex, data-intensive systems, shipping production code that directly improves fuel efficiency for our customers. Elevate the technical bar across the organization by mentoring and developing engineers, leading critical architectural decisions, and driving alignment around a cohesive long-term technical vision. Spearhead initiatives that leverage vast datasets to solve ambiguous problems, such as driver efficiency and signal processing for raw sensor data. Drive technical direction and build consensus across multiple product and engineering teams, acting as the key technical partner to leadership. Operate with a high degree of autonomy to identify and solve our most challenging technical problems, taking full ownership from initial concept to operational reality. What we look for: Proven impact designing, building, and operating real-time, distributed, fault-tolerant systems at scale, with a systems-oriented mindset and a deep understanding of long-term architectural trade-offs. A history of hands-on contribution at a senior level. You are a builder who believes the best architects are close to the implementation. You are a pragmatic decision-maker who excels in a fast-paced, high-stakes shipping cycle. You have the stamina for a relentless build pace and the ability to drive results quickly within a complex, global engineering team. An ability to multiply the impact of those around you. You raise the standard through clear communication, thoughtful mentorship, and an ability to make complex ideas simple. Experience working with large-scale data processing or machine learning pipelines. You are comfortable diving into raw data to find patterns and solve customer problems. A deep sense of ownership and the ability to drive multi-quarter, cross-functional initiatives to completion without waiting for direction. Total Rewards At Samsara, we build for the people who keep the global economy moving. We want owners, not passengers, which is why our rewards are designed to fuel high-impact builders. Our compensation program delivers above-market total compensation through a combination of base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public company. We meaningfully differentiate pay for our top performers, who have the opportunity to earn above-market compensation that can outpace the broader market over time. Beyond compensation, we provide the foundations that enable long-term success: a flexible, employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more. If you're ready to build for the long term and own the outcome, your journey starts here. Flexible Working At Samsara, we embrace a flexible working model that caters to the diverse needs of our teams. Our offices are open for those who prefer to work in-person and we also support remote work where it aligns with our operational requirements. For certain positions, being close to one of our offices or within a specific geographic area is important to facilitate collaboration, access to resources, or alignment with our service regions. In these cases, the job description will clearly indicate any working location requirements. Our goal is to ensure that all members of our team can contribute effectively, whether they are working on-site, in a hybrid model, or fully remotely.
