Purpose: To ensure the robust operation and evolution of 7IM's network and IT infrastructure across both on premises and cloud (Microsoft Azure) environments. The Network & Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for maintaining secure and reliable connectivity for the entire enterprise, covering data centres, office locations, and cloud services. The role provides expert third line support for core infrastructure services, including network, server, and virtualisation platforms such as Windows Server, Hyper V, and VMware, supporting colleagues, clients, and partners. It also drives projects that improve resilience, security, and performance as 7IM continues its transformation towards a hybrid cloud model. This position works closely with the Cloud Engineering team to align on network, server, and connectivity requirements as services migrate to Azure. Responsibilities Network Infrastructure Management: Manage 7IM's internal and external networks, including office/data centre LANs, WAN, Wi Fi, and Azure cloud. Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and cloud components to enhance communication infrastructure and maintain reliability.
