C# ASP.Net Engineers required by the leading eCommerce retailer worldwide.
C#, Agile, Scrum, Web API services, RESTful service, .Net Client Libraries (Http Client)Scrum, BDD, TDD, Unit Testing
Gain Azure experience
Following significant ongoing investment into a cloud first technology strategy, 2 new Scrum teams are being created to support a range of greenfield C# development and enhancement projects including microsservice builds, improvements to recommendations platform, Azure upgrades, etc. etc.
Working in Scrum teams of 6 and following paired programming C# ASP.Net Engineers will work collaboratively to decide on the best approach to each sprint and develop using the latest .Net frameworks with development focussing on Web API services with a really strong RESTful service and client implementation.

You'll have previously contributed to the design, build and deployment of at least one Enterprise level or Business critical solution within an advanced Engineering environment using the latest Microsoft technologies including C#, ASP.Net, Web API, RESTful services and Agile and Engineering concepts including Scrum, BDD, TDD and Unit Testing.
Azure - experience of deploying to the cloud would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be given.
We will be keen to hear about your experience within true Agile Engineering environments. Talk us through your deployment process, Unit testing, TDD and CI/CD tooling and show us these were adapted to benefit the environment in which you built the solutions.
Engineering mindset - We will be looking for you to demonstrate you have an 'Engineering mind-set' rather than a cultish focus on one technology.
Environment: All our projects are Agile-based with automated deployment and continuous integration. To thrive in them you'll need to have undertaken your own Unit testing and have a firm understanding of distributed source control and modern deployment techniques.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of how HTTP(S) and related protocols work.
