Delivery Manager
NextEnergy Group
We are seeking a Delivery Manager (early-career) to bring structure and accountability to how the Technology & Digital Services (TDS) team delivers software, infrastructure, and vendor led projects. This is a cross functional role that sits at the heart of TDS delivery, coordinating across internal engineering squads, Product Managers, architects, and third party vendors to help ensure that projects are delivered on time, to standard, and without disruption to the business. You will work closely with the India based Release Manager, supporting day to day release priorities and pipeline standards, and helping to coordinate delivery activities across both teams. You are not expected to manage squads directly, that is shared with the Scrum Master and Product Managers, but you will be the person who helps ensure everyone is aligned, dependencies are managed, and nothing falls through the cracks. This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity, can support internal teams and external vendors to stay on track (even without direct authority), and can translate technical delivery status into clear communication for project stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Delivery Coordination & Project Management Plan, coordinate, and track delivery across concurrent Digital Transformation workstreams and BAU changes, maintaining a clear and consolidated view of progress, risks, and dependencies at all times. Work closely with Technical Leads, Architects, and Product Managers to ensure delivery is on track, proactively surfacing blockers and facilitating their resolution without taking over squad level ownership. Help define and communicate what teams need to deliver in order for work to be considered ready to enter the CI/CD pipeline, working in alignment with the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards maintained by Product Management. Support Product Managers in managing coordination overhead across workstreams, acting as a force multiplier for delivery capacity within TDS. Collaborate with the data capability and Platform Owner to ensure data related delivery workstreams are appropriately integrated into the broader delivery schedule. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, and status reports, ensuring stakeholders always have a clear and honest picture of delivery health. Vendor & Third Party Delivery Management Ensure that third party vendors adhere to TDS release processes, quality gates, and delivery standards, monitoring compliance and escalating issues within the delivery lifecycle. Coordinate vendor delivery activities within the broader delivery schedule, managing dependencies between internal and external workstreams to avoid conflict or disruption. Monitor vendor delivery performance and raise concerns early to the relevant Product Manager and the Engineering Lead, providing clear evidence and suggested actions. Apply structured project and delivery management approaches (e.g. stage gate processes) where vendors operate outside of an agile framework, ensuring appropriate governance and delivery controls are in place. Release Oversight & Pipeline Standards Provide day to day support to the India based Release Manager on release priorities, pipeline standards, and process compliance, working closely with key delivery and technical leads across both roles. Support release readiness and go/no go activities by gathering inputs and ensuring criteria are tracked, in partnership with Head of Design & Engineering and relevant Technical Leads, ensuring that all delivery and quality criteria are met before any release proceeds to production. Support the ongoing improvement of the CI/CD pipeline and release ways of working, identifying gaps and proposing practical process updates as the capability matures. Ensure that release processes and standards are understood and consistently followed by all internal teams and vendors. Coordinate incident resolution when release related or production issues arise, acting as the central point of contact across engineering teams, vendors, and architects to drive swift diagnosis and remediation. Ensure all incidents are properly documented and reviewed as part of a continuous improvement process, feeding lessons learned back into delivery and release standards. Architecture & Technical Governance Build sufficient understanding of the organisation's architecture, including products, software, data, cloud, and security, to coordinate delivery effectively across technical disciplines. Work closely with the architect community (system, data, cloud, enterprise, and security architects) to help ensure that delivery decisions respect architectural standards and constraints. Escalate technical risks or architectural concerns identified during delivery to the appropriate architect or the Engineering Lead. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting Provide regular, consolidated delivery and release status updates to the Head of Design & Engineering and wider TDS leadership. Support and facilitate cross team delivery forums and release planning sessions, ensuring the right people are in the room and that decisions are made efficiently. Contribute to CAB meetings, providing accurate and timely information on upcoming releases to support informed change advisory decisions. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Strong delivery management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex, multi team environments involving internal squads and external vendors. Comfortable engaging with architects and engineers on software, infrastructure, and cloud topics, with the ability to understand delivery impacts and ask the right questions without needing to be a practitioner. Good understanding of agile delivery practices, with experience working alongside Scrum Masters and Product Managers in a cross functional squad model, including sprint based release cycles and continuous delivery practices. Working understanding of structured project management methodologies, particularly in the context of stage gate processes and vendor delivery governance. Strong influencing skills, able to encourage internal teams and vendors to work to agreed standards without direct line management authority. Highly organised, with strong planning, prioritisation, and risk management skills across concurrent workstreams. Clear and confident communicator, able to translate technical delivery status into plain language for non technical stakeholders. Resilient and pragmatic, comfortable operating in a maturing delivery environment and driving improvement incrementally. Delivery focus with strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. Passion for sustainability and the mission to lead the transition to clean energy. Commitment to NextEnergy Group's values: be a leader, build trust, be responsible, be innovative, and 'bring your alpha'. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 3 years of experience in a delivery management or technical project management role within a software or technology delivery environment. Proven track record of coordinating delivery across internal engineering teams and third party vendors simultaneously. Experience working in an agile delivery environment, with a strong understanding of how delivery management integrates with squad based ways of working, including sprint based release cycles, continuous delivery practices, and supporting release planning across one or more agile teams. Working understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and data platform concepts, sufficient to coordinate effectively across technical disciplines. Familiarity with structured project management methodologies (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent), particularly in the context of stage gate processes and managing vendors operating outside of an agile framework. Experience working with Azure DevOps or equivalent tools for project tracking and delivery coordination. Our agile, cloud native solutions enable over 60 banks, building societies, specialist lenders, equity release providers and a network of 2,400+ brokers to stay ahead in a competitive market. Built on open architecture and backed by deep industry expertise, our platform is designed to scale. Each year, we process over £50 billion in loans, manage nearly £50 billion in savings, and support the digital servicing of more than 650,000 borrower accounts. Be part of a team that's driving innovation, enabling growth, and shaping the future of UK lending. About the Role We're looking for a Data Architect to define and shape the data foundations enabling AI driven credit decisioning and the next generation of our data platform. This role exists to bring structure, coherence and future proofed thinking to how data is organised, accessed and leveraged across Finova's mortgage decisioning ecosystem. Over the next 12 months, success will be measured by the clarity of the canonical data model, the robustness of data pipelines supporting rapid AI experimentation, and the alignment of our decisioning data platform with longer term enterprise strategy. This is a highly collaborative role, partnering across Product, Engineering and Data Science to ensure data becomes a governed, reusable and commercially valuable asset. What You'll Be Doing Defining Data Strategy (with Pragmatism) Shape the data architecture for AI driven credit decisioning, balancing speed to market with long term scalability. Set clear principles, standards and guardrails for data ingestion, storage and access. Make pragmatic trade offs between short term delivery pressures and long term enterprise alignment. Provide architectural clarity and direction that accelerates delivery without compromising future flexibility. Designing Canonical Data Models Develop and evolve a canonical data model across key mortgage entities (e.g., Applicant, Property, Loan, Broker, Decision). Standardise and rationalise data from disparate sources (Azure SQL, SQL Server, Blob Storage, external APIs). Ensure models support ML feature engineering, explainability, analytics and operational decisioning. Introduce naming conventions, lineage patterns and reference data structures to drive consistency. Enabling AI & Decisioning Use Cases Partner with Data Science to ensure data is fit for modelling, prediction, explainability and monitoring. Define data structures that support feature reuse, lineage, auditability and regulatory compliance. Ensure data foundations support explainable and traceable decisioning workflows. Embed governance practices that support high stakes, regulated environments. Cross Team Collaboration & Leadership You'll play a key role in shaping the organisation's data capability alongside the Director of Engineering and Director of Data: Work closely with Product to translate business problems into concrete data requirements. Contribute to the development of the enterprise data strategy and ensure decisioning data aligns with it. Act as a bridge between strategy and execution, grounding decisions in practical delivery experience. Partner with Engineering teams to design scalable, implementable pipelines and data services. Support Data Science in accessing and shaping high quality training and validation datasets. Make complex data concepts accessible to both technical and non technical stakeholders. Driving Delivery (Not Just Design) Take a hands on approach to shaping and refining data solutions. Unblock teams quickly by making decisive architectural calls. Promote reuse of data assets, avoiding duplication and fragmentation. Ensure documentation, metadata, lineage and governance remain up to date and adopted. About You Core Experience You will be a strong fit if you bring: Proven experience designing data architectures and data models in complex environments. Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT and cloud native platforms. Experience with both operational and analytical datasets, ideally in regulated sectors such as financial services. A track record of guiding multidisciplinary teams through data related decisions. Technical Capability Strong SQL skills and experience defining data models, transformations and performance optimised structures. Understanding of batch, streaming and ELT/ETL processing patterns. Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, orchestration, compute). Familiarity with modern data architectures (lakehouse, medallion, warehouse). Desirable: experience with ML related data processes (feature stores, training pipelines, monitoring). Mindset & Approach Commercial acumen - able to weigh cost, value, risk and time to market. Bias for action - moves from ambiguity to clarity quickly. Pragmatic, outcome focused thinker - avoids over engineering. Curious, experimental and interested in AI/ML innovation. Collaborative by default - thrives in cross functional environments. Clear communicator - able to explain data concepts simply and confidently. What Success Looks Like A clear, usable canonical data model unifying fragmented mortgage datasets. Data pipelines that enable rapid experimentation and AI model development. Reduced friction between Product, Data Science and Engineering teams. A scalable data foundation supporting both MVP delivery and future enterprise expansion. Balanced, thoughtful architectural decisions that maintain delivery pace while avoiding unnecessary rework. What We Offer Hybrid working: At Finova, we believe the best outcomes come from working together - and having the flexibility to work in a way that suits both our people and our business. We operate a hybrid working model, with most teams spending around three days a week in the office and with our customers. This time together helps us stay connected, collaborate more effectively, and solve complex challenges as a team. We also know that flexibility matters. Our approach is designed to support a healthy balance, combining in person collaboration with the freedom to work remotely where it makes sense. Holiday: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, bank holiday trading and holiday purchase options, the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world for up to 4 weeks per year. Looking After You: Life Assurance, Group Income Protection, Private Medical Insurance, a pension scheme via Salary Exchange, an Employee Assistance Programme, and access to a Virtual GP. Family Friendly Policies: Enhanced maternity and paternity pay, as well as paid time off for fertility treatments and pregnancy loss. Extra Perks: Cycle to Work Scheme, discounts on shops, restaurants and gym memberships, free fresh fruit daily, and opportunities to join colleague networks and social groups. Giving Back: One paid volunteering day annually and the Give As You Earn scheme to support your favourite charities. Equal Opportunity Statement We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Principal Solutions Architect
Blumberg Capital Company
The Senior Solutions Architect will own the end to end design of complex customer or prospect solutions built on top of our social media management platform, with a strong focus on integrations, workflows, and measurable business value. This person will act as the bridge between customer facing teams (mostly AMs and AEs) and Product & Tech: translating client use cases and operational constraints into robust technical architectures, and turning those architectures into clear, actionable briefs for our product managers and engineering teams. In line with Hootsuite's distributed workforce strategy, our flexible work arrangement allows for remote work. This role is open to applicants located in London, England, United Kingdom and Luxembourg, Luxembourg. In this role, you will report to the Solutions Director. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Participate in strategic client / prospect meetings and discovery workshops with strategic/enterprise accounts to understand business objectives, current tools, and operational constraints. Challenge and refine client requirements, uncovering underlying needs and proposing pragmatic solutions grounded in our platform capabilities. Articulate complex technical concepts in simple, non technical language to senior business stakeholders (CMO, Head of Social, Customer Care, Digital, Data teams). Act as a trusted advisor on topics such as social data architecture, governance, workflow design, and integration strategy notably on RFP or RFI. Lead the design of end to end solutions that leverage our core platform capabilities (publishing, engagement, listening, analytics, governance) and integrate with external systems (CRM, customer care platforms, marketing automation, data warehouses, BI tools, etc.). Translate complex integration requirements (APIs, webhooks, SSO, data sync, custom workflows) into user centric, value oriented solution designs. Produce clear architecture artefacts when needed: solution blueprints, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, and configuration guides. Evaluate feasibility, risks, and trade offs of different solution approaches, always balancing speed, robustness, and scalability. Translate client and operational needs into structured, actionable briefs for Product and Engineering: Clear problem statements and business context. Detailed functional and non functional requirements. Edge cases, constraints, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with Product Managers to prioritise requirements, shape roadmaps, and assess build vs configure vs integrate options. Partner with Engineering to validate technical designs, refine implementation details, and ensure solutions we would be pushing to our clients or prospects are aligned with platform architecture and standards or alternatively set guardrails and manage expectations. Provide feedback loops from the field back into the product: recurring patterns, blockers, integration gaps, and opportunities for new capabilities. Guide project teams (PS, Customer Success, Partner teams) during implementation as the "design authority" for the solution. Review technical configurations and integration setups to ensure they adhere to the agreed architecture and best practices. Help define standards, patterns, and reusable assets (templates, reference architectures, integration playbooks) that make future projects faster and more consistent. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Extensive years of experience in a relevant role: Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Senior Solutions Consultant, Technical Consultant, or similar in a SaaS / digital platform environment. Strong experience with integration heavy solutions involving APIs, webhooks, SSO/identity, and data pipelines. Experience working with at least some of the following: CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot, etc.), contact centre / ticketing tools (Zendesk, ServiceNow, etc.), marketing automation, CDP/DMP, data warehouses/BI tools. Background in social media / digital marketing / customer care platforms is a strong plus, ideally with tools like Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout, Khoros, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, etc. Proven track record acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ideally in a role reporting into a Solutions / Professional Services / Customer Success organization. Solid understanding of modern web and SaaS architectures: RESTful APIs, webhooks, OAuth/SSO, microservices, event driven workflows. Ability to read API documentation, reason about data models, and specify integration patterns (batch vs real time, push vs pull, error handling, monitoring). Comfort discussing technical topics with engineers (data structures, rate limits, performance considerations) even if you are not the one writing production code. Familiarity with data concepts: data mapping, normalization, basic SQL or BI concepts, and how social data flows into broader customer data ecosystems. Strong ability to translate technical possibilities and limitations into clear business impacts and trade offs. User and value oriented mindset: always able to answer "who is this for, what changes for them, and how do we measure success?". Comfortable working in a fast moving environment with evolving requirements; able to iterate quickly while maintaining architectural rigor. Customer Focus: Demonstrated desire to proactively help internal/external customers meet their needs. Open Communication: clearly conveys thoughts, both written and verbally, listening attentively and asking questions for clarification and understanding. Collaboration and Teamwork: working with others to deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team, being a dependable partner. WHO YOU ARE: Solution seeker. You're focused on tackling new challenges, solving problems, and moving the business forward-and you don't wait to be asked. Lifelong learner. You have a growth mindset - you're here to learn, experiment, seek, apply, and provide feedback, share what works with your team, and move on from what doesn't. Resilient adapter. In the face of change and challenges, you bring a thoughtful, calm approach, and a focus on finding the new opportunity. Intentional collaborator. You build positive working relationships across the business, bringing people together to foster new opportunities and to facilitate the efficient flow of information. Critical challenger. You have the trust in your team to ask difficult questions in order to get to the best end result. Active communicator. You listen actively and communicate ideas and information clearly, inclusively, and proactively. Integrated thinker. You look beyond your role and responsibilities to understand how your team's work drives broader organizational goals. Accountable owner. You take pride in the work you're responsible for with a mindset of ultimate accountability and reliability for the outcomes. Bar-raiser. You step up to help your team grow and succeed, even when that means going beyond what might be expected.
