We’re looking for our first dedicated in-house IT Manager to oversee all our Information Technology requirements. Any prior experience in Apple device management software would be distinctly advantageous. You will need to be proactive, self-driven, and able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. As an effective communicator and collaborator, you will interact with team members, and provide regular updates to the IT Lead, Richard Line, and the Operations Board. We’d expect you to recommend and implement improvements to our systems and workflows to enable the business to run more efficiently and increase our team’s productivity. Assessment of new technology and its potential application will be required to inform robust Business Cases associated with investment, development and training. Experience working within a similar role in a creative design studio or the built environment sector would be an advantage but not essential; likewise, an understanding of industry-specific IT protocols (BIM/FTPs/BS or ISO standards relating to IT management). This full-time role (37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday) is based in our Greater Manchester headquarters in Altrincham. The role will involve regular travel (expenses paid) to our four studios across the UK to provide IT support and advice on site as needed. A full UK Driving Licence will be required. As the Lead Product Owner for our Mobile Apps, you will be the definitive product leader for NEXT eCommerce's crucial mobile ecosystem. This is a key role where you will own the end to end product lifecycle for our native iOS or Android applications. You will be responsible for executing a world class mobile strategy that delivers measurable business value and a seamless, high performing experience for millions of customers. You will guide a dedicated cross functional team and act as the subject matter expert, balancing commercial goals with technical feasibility. What You'll Be Doing Strategic Product Leadership: Define, champion and own the product roadmap for the NEXT and Total Platform Mobile Apps, ensuring every feature is rooted in driving commercial growth and retail excellence. Prioritisation and Value Delivery: Take full ownership of the product backlog, prioritising initiatives to deliver value at pace in collaboration with the Product Channel Manager. Stakeholder Alignment and Communication: Proactively engage and manage senior internal stakeholders to capture business needs, manage expectations and effectively communicate the product initiatives, alongside associated risks. Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish and track core Mobile App performance, product health and eCommerce KPIs (e.g., conversion, retention, crash-free sessions) and use in depth analytical insights and customer feedback to validate hypotheses and inform all product decisions. Empowering the Team: Lead daily product efforts, guiding the development team (Developers, QA, BAs) through Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and ensuring clarity in requirements, ultimately serving as the key driver for team progress and motivation. What You'll Bring Proven hands-on experience as a Product Owner within the retail or eCommerce sector. A solid understanding of the mechanics of online trading and customer shopping behaviours. Thought leader in digital space, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Can quickly and accurately identify any issues or risks associated with a project as well as implementing a solution. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into commercial updates for a range of audiences. A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change. Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach to defining success supported by analytical data. Extensive experience working in Agile environments and mastering SCRUM methodologies to deliver value at pace. Highly motivated and hardworking, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment. Google for business / Microsoft Office proficient.
