Due to growth within the team, we have a vacancy for a Senior Test Engineer within our Microelectronics business. In this role you will develop and maintain test systems (including hardware and software) and provide day to day production support. As part of the test engineering team you will be involved in improvement projects and introducing new equipment and new products into production. This is a full-time, onsite role, based at our Bedlington facility. Key Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Test Engineering Manager, key duties and responsibilities will include: Day to day support of production, trouble shooting issues with automated test systems. Proactively identifying opportunities to improve the current test system. Investigation of test failures. Leading in longer term team projects. Setting up and maintaining the electrical measurement systems. Designing and constructing test hardware. Modifying/generating test code to control instrumentation and performing automated testing.
