3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer (DV Cleared) Location: London, on-site Clearance: DV Cleared (active) Rate: £650 per day (inside IR35) Start Date: ASAP - 6 months minimum We are seeking a DV Cleared 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in London. This role involves working closely with our 3rd Line and Engineering teams to support a high-profile user community. The successful candidate will receive training on legacy infrastructure and will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our system capabilities. Day-to-day of the role: Assist in the management and support of Microsoft Windows Server environments from 2003 to 2022. Handle Active Directory configurations and Group Policy management. Manage DNS, WINS, and DHCP services along with PKI Services. Oversee SMTP Proxy Servicing and firewall management and controls. Support DFS, HA, Clustering, SOFS, and various virtualisation technologies including RDS, VMWare, vCenter, ESXI, vMotion, HyperV, and VMM Terminal Services. Work with MS Cloud services including Exchange, Storage, and Shares App serviced. Deploy and manage Citrix environments incorporating PVSMCS and APP-v with Citrix StoreFront. Utilise PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration, and manage MBAM/BitLocker/VPN. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficient with Microsoft Windows Server . Mandatory: Storage (NASSAN or Dell as well as Netapp); Red Hat; PKI and HSM knowledge. Strong experience in Active Directory and Group Policy. Skilled in DNS, WINS, DHCP, PKI Services, SMTP Proxy Servicing, and firewall management. Experience with DFS, HA, Clustering, SOFS, RDS, VMWare, vCenter, ESXI, vMotion, HyperV, VMM Terminal Services. Familiarity with MS Cloud services, Citrix deployments, and APP-v. Proficient in PowerShell scripting, MBAM/BitLocker/VPN. Desirable Skills: Experience with HyperV, Azure, and Google Cloud. Desirable: Microsoft / Citrix / VMWare certifications and a wider understanding of client or midrange OSes, networking, and security. Knowledge of server technologies like HP BladeSystem, cloud management technologies like HP Cloud Service Automation, and system configuration technologies like HP Server Automation.
