Role and Purpose We are looking for a talented and motivated UI Engineer with solid frontend development experience to help create polished, performant game UI using Coherent Gameface for our Unreal Engine projects. The team are looking for like-minded UX Interaction Designers who are interested in or make music, have a diverse portfolio and want to deliver world-class interactive software experiences. What will I do in this job all day? - Design innovative interactions for music technology products - Analyse user needs and define architecture layouts, workflows and interactions - Produce high quality aesthetics for final designs - Create rapid prototypes to demonstrate ideas and concepts - Validate design concepts and carry out user research and testing - Take part in design reviews to make improvements and share ideas - Carry out detailed research to stay ahead in the industry and generate unique ideas The person I’m looking for – - Is familiar with music tech of any kind – mixing consoles, amps, speakers, synths, guitar pedals, DAWs…anything! - Has a diverse portfolio of UX and UI design projects that have shipped commercially - Knows about Agile workflows - Can explain design concepts to stakeholders and other team members - Likes to work collaboratively and has a creative, thoughtful approach - Is an active researcher who loves to stay ahead in design concepts and is always looking for new ideas If this sounds like you, please apply and I will contact you with further details if you’re successful.
