Field Services Delivery Manager - West Midlands (Field-Based) Salary: £45,992.14 + Quarterly Bonus Hours: 40 hours per week + on-call rota An established national energy services organisation is seeking an experienced Field Services Delivery Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team across the West Midlands. This is a senior, field-based leadership role with real operational impact. You will be responsible for driving performance, safety, quality and customer satisfaction across a team of around 15 field engineers, ensuring delivery against key contractual KPIs and service level agreements. This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong leader who enjoys being visible in the field, coaching engineers side-by-side, and playing a hands-on role in operational delivery. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of field engineers, ensuring consistent delivery of installation and service targets Spend the majority of your time in the field providing coaching, performance management and technical support Drive improvements in productivity, quality, safety and customer satisfaction Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards Monitor engineer performance using audits, KPIs and compliance data Support onboarding, training and ongoing development of new and existing engineers Manage timesheets, attendance and performance reviews Support investigation of incidents and customer complaints Work closely with internal teams including Compliance, HR and Performance Managers Participate in on-call and, in exceptional circumstances, support field delivery directly What We're Looking For We're looking to speak with candidates who bring: Proven experience in a supervisory or field management role Strong coaching and leadership capability A background in utilities or smart metering Dual Fuel Meter Engineer qualification Excellent knowledge of health & safety and operational compliance Strong communication and stakeholder management skills A hands-on, field-focused leadership style Full UK driving licence What's On Offer This role offers a strong package and long-term career opportunity, including: Salary of £45,992.14 Quarterly performance bonus 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 30 with service) 4% employer pension (increasing to 5%) Life assurance (4x salary) Employee Participation Plan Enhanced sick pay and family leave Cycle to work scheme Employee Assistance Programme and digital GP access Healthcare cashback scheme Structured learning & development and management training
