This is a financial data consumption and cost efficiency role - not technical data engineering. The focus is on understanding how departments use data, identifying waste, and recommending improved models and contracts. Key Responsibilities: Review data service contracts and SLAs for efficiency, effectiveness, and value for money (VFM). Engage with departments and service providers to understand usage, behaviours, and pain points. Analyse consumption patterns to identify waste and opportunities for optimisation. Co-design improved operating models, focusing on fair usage, continuous improvement, and sector-wide efficiency. Deliver a clear set of business change options, a recommended data service model, and a roadmap for transition. Requirements: Proven experience in FinOps, cloud/SaaS cost optimisation, or financial data services. Strong business analysis skills; able to understand non-technical data requirements.
