A team 5 engineers are seeking a Junior Front-End Developer / application developer with experience using HTML, JavaScript and CSS as well as good UI / UX skills, to join them at an exciting time as they continue to grow and implement new technologies. They are a fully integrated managed service hosting company that not only build, automate and manage their client’s cloud services but also build web applications (largely corporate internal systems) to sit on top of the infrastructure. They are a PHP Web stack environment that take on green field projects helping their clients move away from legacy systems… They build on the Laravel framework in OO PHP code using MySQL Databases. Right now, their front-end coding is functional. HTML / CSS / jQuery (it’s internal systems not flashy websites) but they are exploring new front-end technologies and are open to incorporating modern JS frameworks including Vue.js, React.JS and AngularJS (they have completed a recent project using React). As Junior Front-End Developer, you will focus front-end technologies to supplement and support their back-end development team. You will also have a chance to pick up on back-end technologies and DevOps practice if you wish. Based in Taunton, with a friendly office dog (Tilly) and collaborative workplace environment built for a modern tech team.
