Job Title: Business Data Analyst 6-Month Contract Location: South Manchester (3 days onsite per week) Contract: 6 months Role Overview: A 6-month contract opportunity for a skilled Business Data Analyst to support asset data transformation initiatives. The role involves turning complex asset data into structured insights to inform maintenance and capital planning. The analyst will work closely with technical SMEs and stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, actionable, and delivered on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Transform and manage critical asset data to meet evolving asset management requirements. Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex datasets. Technical knowledge in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation preferred. Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects), databases (SQL), and programming (XML, JavaScript, ETL frameworks). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation. Experience with statistical analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.). Familiarity with facilities management systems (e.g., Maximo) is advantageous. Knowledge of Jira advantageous. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision. Strong communicator, able to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
