Are you an Infrastructure Engineer looking for a new challenge? This role will provide 3rd / 4th Line support in a BAU environment, responding to incidents. You will be part of a 6 person technical team within our Network Security department. You will work within the Delivered Service line providing daily incident resolution and administration, deliver demand and project work while providing guidance and support in areas of key expertise. You will be encouraged to feed into processes to ensure the service offered is relevant and up to date whilst working on end to end projects from outlining business case stages through to implementation and contract management. What you will be doing: Working inside a Security Services environment Performing administration duties across: Windows and Linux based Server Infrastructure Security Appliances Network Infrastructure Virtual Environments and Storage What you'll bring: Networking background ideally with experience in Gateway security, Firewalls and IDS Windows Servers - 2012 or 2016 or 2019 VMware - vSphere Linux Web proxies SMTP Email It would be great if you had: Knowledge of ITIL (ITIL Foundation certificate or experience working in ITIL environments). Previous experience of project delivery & implementation of detailed designs. Knowledge of MoD, CESG and other mandated government IT legislation. Certified Information Systems Security Professional or other security certification.
