Contract Type: 6 months - Inside IR35

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Network Project Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in the energy sector. This role will involve the design and deployment of Cisco and Meraki network solutions within a live construction/power station environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting complex network builds - ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability across the site network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Cisco and Meraki network solutions.

• Oversee project delivery in collaboration with construction and engineering teams.

• Configure, test, and document new network builds to meet project specifications.

• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.

• Ensure compliance with safety and site regulations, including CSCS requirements.

• Work closely with stakeholders to align network architecture with overall site objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience designing and building networks using Cisco and Meraki technologies.

• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and wireless solutions.

• Experience working on energy or construction/power station sites is highly desirable.

• Must hold a valid CSCS accreditation (essential).

• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deliverables.
