Data Scientist (Power & Utilities Trading)

Our client are a global consulting, working on a project in the Power & Utilities space. They are on the lookout for a Data Scientist to come in on a contract basis.

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Must have strong Data Science skills
• Must have Domain experience: Power Trading, Utilities Trading, Battery Trading, CCJ (Nuclear/Uranium)
• Experience across different asset classes and understanding of trading mechanisms and market specificities
• Experience collaborating with traders and applying expertise in UK and EMEA power markets
• Python Experience
• AWS Experience for cloud
• ML Fundamentals
• ETL Pipelines experience (Airflow, Dagster etc)

Contract is running for 6 months initially, open to expectations on day rate (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) and due to the fact this will be working closely with traders it will be 4 days per week onsite in London.
