The University of Glasgow is seeking to appoint a talented and highly motivated IT Infrastructure Manager.
Reporting to the Computing Support Manager, the post holder will take a leading role in managing and maintaining the school’s IT Infrastructure, which is essential for the research, teaching and professional services of Psychology and Neuroscience. Job Purpose

Provide and manage core Linux and Microsoft Windows systems to ensure vital DNS, directory, desktop, and storage services remain available, secure and patched.
Lead the management of web services and Content Management Systems running Apache, PHP, Tomcat, MySQL/MariaDB, Python.

Requirements:
Experienced production database administration covering Microsoft SQL Server 2016, including both Standard and Enterprise editions.
Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience in a Technology Manager/Architect role
Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server Clustering, LogShipping, Replication and/or AOAG.
