Job Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer Location: Lincolnshire (Remote) Working Arrangement: On-Site 1 Day Every 4-6 Weeks (Travel Expenses Covered) Key Experience/Skills: - Demonstrable skills in modern C & C++ Embedded Software Development for embedded devices - Good Knowledge of low-power wireless comms’, such as Zigbee BLE/ Bluetooth and WI-FI - It is expected you will have an understanding of electronics and microcontroller-based embedded systems - Your background will include experience with various embedded software development environments including compilers, debuggers, toolchains and emulators Desirable - Experience of low-level communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART) implementation and debugging - Knowledge of version control principals & experience using a version control tool - Understanding of the software development life-cycle stages and reasons for following this process - Experience with either consumer electronics, IoT or audio product development Education: Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/electronic Engineering or equivalent is required
