Our Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) Security team is looking for a Google Cloud Delivery Lead. The CCoE offers a range of products and services to consumers of the platforms. The consumers of the platforms may require additional products and services to be enabled or further features/improvements to be made to the existing set. The Google Cloud Delivery Lead supports the GCP Engineering team to manage E2E delivery of change releases. You'll take ownership for the Product Roadmap, coordinating the release management cycles and advising on readiness, ensuring that products and features are delivered appropriately and platform consumers have what they require to utilise them effectively. What you'd get involved with: Product Roadmap & Release Management Supporting and leading end to end product roadmap for the team, with oversight of dependencies, setting release cycles and coordinating consumer readiness activity Supporting Cloud Adoption and Cloud SRE teams, ensuring any required service introduction activities are completed Maintaining awareness of wider change that impacts the customer journey, ensuring that these are factored into the Product Roadmap Strategy, Prioritisation and Benefits Realisation Supporting the team to define and shape the CCoE strategy (the "What" and the "Why") Supporting the team to understand the business context which the CCoE faces into and assists them in navigating that landscape Supporting the team with prioritisation and refinement activities, to enable value delivered Governance Creating, implementing and operating within an appropriate governance framework which aligns to the wider transformation/end to end governance framework Planning & finance Driving progress towards the MVP; understanding, challenging and managing any blockers, e.g. time, resource and people Building and maintaining key relationships with particular Divisions or Business Units People & Self Development Contributing to building delivery capability across the CCoE , ensuring that teams consider business needs in both product design and acceptance criteria Supporting CCoE teams to become delivery specialists, ensuring that change releases are successful Leadership, coaching, career development of team members Risk Continuously evaluating against potential risk (financial, people, regulatory and compliance) and taking steps to mitigate where required Escalating delivery risks where necessary to ensure that releases are not delayed What's needed to be considered for this job? Experience in delivering large complex change programmes across the Group, especially within a public cloud setting Understanding of Google Cloud products and services, with a good level of technical knowledge for working in an engineering focussed environment Experience of effectively communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to overcome implementation hurdles, risk to delivery and put mitigants in place to ensure a seamless delivery Planning and financial budgeting experience in an agile (Scrum) based environment Actively researches industry best practice, tools and techniques for efficient implementation What you'd get in return: Offering you both opportunity and profile - we'll provide you with a diverse, energising and lively environment that focuses on equal opportunity and real career progression.
