Role and Responsibilities This is an excellent opportunity for a capable web developer who enjoys owning features end-to-end in a modern, forward-thinking financial services business. We have our own proprietary applications, both back-office solutions as well as client facing. You will work on multiple projects including continuing to enhance our own CRM solution, migrating legacy WebForms functionality to clean services and a modern UI. Role: Senior Combat Systems Engineer Duation: 6 months Location: Portsmouth (full-time on-site) Rate: Negotiable (Umbrella only) Inside IR35 SC/DV clearance required The role Senior Combat System Engineer required to support a naval programme on a 6-month SC/DV-cleared contract. You will help deliver operationally effective naval combat systems, ensuring complex maritime systems are safely and fully integrated. Working within a team of Combat System Engineers, you will plan and deliver integration, test, evaluation and acceptance activities, support the emerging Design Authority, and contribute to sea trials and safety evidence for system integration. Key responsibilities Lead and direct Combat System Engineers on technical matters for naval development. Engage with customers, stakeholders and suppliers to understand and refine requirements. Produce test plans, execute trials and complete post-trial analysis and reporting. Generate technical documentation, including Supporting Evidence for Certificates of Safe Integration. Provide clear progress reports to senior technical and project stakeholders. Conduct and support sea trials on Royal Navy ships.
