Conduct basic preventative maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any machining or tooling issues to minimise downtime. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to suggest and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience operating and programming sliding head (Swiss-type) CNC lathes. Strong understanding of CNC programming, ideally with knowledge of STAR machines. Proficient in inspecting components with precision measuring tools. Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
