Red Cortex are a Cloud Transformation Consultancy to the Public Sector and a Microsoft Partner. We have an exciting job opportunity for 3 WinTel Server Engineers who have a solid and deep knowledge of Windows Server Technologies.
You will be working on a Technology Refresh programme– moving everything from physical servers into the Azure Cloud. Knowledge of Cloud Technologies is important and a nice to have but more importantly the role is about demonstrable, knowledge of:
* Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, including the following roles: - Remote Desktop Services (Server Based Computing) – Windows Clustering - Certificate Services - Group Policy – and DNS.
* Active Directory
* Office365
* Windows Azure including creation of Virtual Machines, Site-to-Site VPN’s, Virtual Networks.
* Microsoft System Centre, including Configuration Manager and Operations Manager
* Windows client systems including Windows 7.
* Microsoft File and Print Services.
* TCP/IP
Server Engineers with SC Clearance and also
* Good written and clear verbal communication skills.
* Proactive analysis of issues.
* Managing successful solution projects into support.
