Solution Architect – Luton, Bedfordshire - £60-65k plus package
My client is a global services provider, offering Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions to multiple business sectors. Clients include banks, insurance companies, government organisations and telcos. The CCM business designs, builds and runs solutions delivering printed and digital customer communications for its clients. The business operates in a hybrid onshore-offshore model, with design and SME functions onshore and development and testing offshore.
Key Responsibilities:
Works with the Technical Specialists to provide effective solution designs to meet the requirements of the client, external or internal
Works with the Technical Specialists to provide high level estimates for new opportunities
Works with the Technical Specialists to manage internal and external suppliers who are delivering components of solutions
May on occasion take direct responsibility for the delivery of high level designs and/or project work
Skills and Experience:
Min 5 years’ experience in technology, 2 of which working as a Solutions Architect, preferably in digital communications
Understanding / experience of TOGAF or equivalent framework
Good understanding and experience of managing multiple, complex client relationships
Experience creating original and innovative solutions to problems
Ability to undertake a broad mix of technical, operational, supplier management and client facing tasks
Essential experience / understanding of:
Batch and real time CCM solutions
Working with offshore teams
Solution design and development
Enterprise architecture (TOGAF)
Service oriented architecture
Managing relationships (client, stakeholders, team members, suppliers)
