Job description This is an exciting opportunity for someone who couples strong technical Drupal development experience with the management skills required to be a Project Leader. You will be responsible for our larger projects; from scoping, architecting and building, to final delivery of compelling & innovative websites. You will be responsible for overseeing project work and managing project team members in collaboration with our Project Managers. Key Responsibilities Liaise with Business Development Managers over scope and time estimates for proposals & assist winning new contracts on pitches Act as final approval for decisions about how product will be constructed Produce specifications and ensure that projects are well-planned, achievable & high-quality Decide, prepare or review plans - prototypes, IA, build, theme, development - integration and migration Collaborate with Project Managers and Quality Assurance Officer to ensure delivery is to the required scope, plan and standards Skills & Knowledge Senior developer Extensive, proven development experience to a high level with Drupal Extensive understanding of Drupal's architecture, APIs and custom module development Architecting overall systems, guided by prototypes and proof of concepts Drupal 7 & 8 site builds, theming and configuration of standard modules Understanding of behaviour-driven development Confidence with PHP, MySQL, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Git, Drush etc Some good general sysadmin capability Theming from scratch or based on framework (Bootstrap, Foundation, Zen etc) JavaScript, jQuery development, especially frameworks such as Angular or Meteor Excellent knowledge of Git and best-practice Drupal deployment workflows Experience of integration with external systems Use of version control systems Structured approach to troubleshooting Performance optimization for Drupal Well informed of industry trends & best development practices to improve our product offering Package Salary is competitive, based on experience, and comes with a performance-linked bonus.
